Avalon Legends Solitaire

A decent solitaire game with 200 levels and with no unnecessary nonsense features added to it. Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 4.2-1).

A nice solitaire game. A bit fun and relaxing. Would suggest getting it on sale and/or in the bundle.

Rapide et efficace ; que demander de plus à un solitaire ? L'ambiance (décors, musiques) est agréable en toute simplicité. Les objectifs sont clairs et sans grande difficulté à chaque stage. Il vous faudra en plus réunir les 52 cartes magiques. Les bonus/artefacts à acheter pour vous aider sont basiques. Un peu de farming cependant pour la dernière étape en ce qui me concerne. Pas de surprise ni de grand challenge mais en promo je vous le recommande pour un peu moins de 8h de jeu.

edit: scratch that. individual levels can't be replayed, not even before moving on to the next within a chapter to try over and over until it's perfect. flipped to a non-recommendation. looks like I didn't review this back then, might as well do it now. it's a generic +1/-1 solitaire with a generic fantasy setting and story, the usual power-ups and whatnot. decently put together, better than the disappointing [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/841980]3rd game[/url] in the series but not as good as the [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/512260]2nd game[/url], one of my favorites in the genre.

There are many better solitaire games out there. The game is poorly balanced and requires more luck than actual skill, and failing an objective forces you to replay a lot of games in a row. Completing the game is more forcing oneself than actual pleasure. The game has some minor bugs, but nothing that would break the game.

This is a decent enough solitaire game. I would rank it maybe 5/10. If you love playing this type of game it's worth a playthrough. It was a little too easy to meet the objectives of each level in my opinion until the very last level, and then this one level I probably played 40 or more times before I hit all 3 objectives at once and beat the game. I still enjoyed it even though I probably wouldn't play it again. The story was pretty non-existant and the art was decent until the final drawing of the forest which I kinda wondered if someone's kid drew.

Time passes quickly in Avalon Legends. The challenges aren't that difficult, and Avalon Legends has variety on a familiar solitaire game and that keeps you going. The graphics are lovely to look at, and there are treasures to purchase along the way. However, once you complete the game - it's over. If you want to play again you have to start over - all achievements lost, all treasure gone. Free play is worthless - no treasure, no achievements, no score that matters. I would really have liked to be able to replay levels for higher scores.

Liked the solitare and story but would have liked to try again to get a better score on each level.
