I Love the game but.. every resolution in wide screen looks bad. They offer resolution even to 5120x1440 where bottom hud UI hide character. If you go there, then you will see nothing :( If you fix it I will change my oppinion, and you will have my gratitude until end of life :)
The gameplay is great and polished, and the controls are really precise and fun with a gamepad.
Overall this game is sheer fun. Great character progression, easy to use/understand interface, cool missions, characters and build upgrades so far. The only downside is the life blobs and they REALLY need to work on this.
Autogun Heroes: Supercharged is a sci-fi action roguelike developed and published by Nitro Games that blends side-scrolling shooting, platforming, and progression-driven gameplay into a highly replayable package. Set in a galaxy threatened by hostile alien forces, the game places players in the role of a battle-hardened hero tasked with pushing through dangerous worlds, rescuing allies, and building a powerful squad capable of surviving increasingly intense encounters. While the premise is straightforward, the game’s strength comes from how effectively it combines arcade-style action with modern roguelike mechanics. At its core, the experience revolves around fast movement and constant combat. Stages are packed with enemies, environmental hazards, and powerful bosses that require quick reactions and careful positioning. The controls feel responsive, making it easy to jump, dodge, and fire while navigating crowded battlefields. Success depends heavily on player skill, as simply collecting stronger equipment is not enough to overcome every challenge. Learning enemy attack patterns and reacting under pressure become just as important as building a strong character. A major highlight is the roster of unlockable heroes. Throughout the adventure, players can rescue additional crew members who bring unique abilities and combat specialties to the battlefield. This system adds variety to every run, as different heroes encourage different strategies. Some excel at raw offensive power, while others offer advantages through mobility, survivability, or specialized skills. The result is a progression system that feels meaningful because new unlocks genuinely change the way the game is played rather than serving as simple cosmetic rewards. The customization options further strengthen the experience. Weapons, armor, gadgets, and upgrades can be collected and improved over time, allowing players to create builds that suit their preferred playstyle. Whether focusing on overwhelming damage output, defensive resilience, or balanced versatility, there are numerous ways to develop a character. The constant search for better gear and stronger combinations creates a satisfying gameplay loop that encourages repeated runs and experimentation. Visually, the game embraces a colorful futuristic style that complements its energetic action. Alien environments, explosive effects, and diverse enemy designs keep the presentation engaging throughout the campaign. Although the graphics are not intended to compete with high-budget blockbuster productions, they are clean, vibrant, and effective at communicating information during chaotic battles. The visual clarity becomes especially important when dozens of projectiles and enemies fill the screen simultaneously. The roguelike structure provides considerable replay value. Randomized upgrades and changing combat situations ensure that each run offers new opportunities and challenges. Even failed attempts contribute to long-term progression through unlocks and improvements, creating a rewarding sense of advancement. Players who enjoy refining strategies, discovering powerful combinations, and gradually mastering difficult content will find plenty of reasons to keep returning. Boss encounters serve as some of the most memorable moments in the game. These battles demand more than brute force, often requiring precise movement and an understanding of attack patterns. Defeating a difficult boss feels genuinely rewarding because victory is usually earned through a combination of preparation, skill, and persistence. These encounters effectively punctuate the action and provide meaningful milestones throughout the journey. The game is not without limitations. Players looking for a deep narrative or extensive world-building may find the story secondary to the gameplay systems. The focus remains firmly on combat, progression, and replayability. As with many roguelikes, repeated runs are central to the experience, which may not appeal to everyone. However, for players who enjoy action-heavy games built around constant improvement and experimentation, these design choices are likely to be strengths rather than weaknesses. Overall, Autogun Heroes: Supercharged succeeds as an entertaining blend of run-and-gun action and roguelike progression. Its responsive controls, varied hero roster, rewarding upgrade systems, and strong emphasis on replayability create an experience that remains engaging long after the first few runs. While it follows familiar genre conventions, it executes them with confidence and enough variety to keep players invested. Fans of fast-paced shooters and progression-focused roguelikes will find plenty to enjoy in this energetic sci-fi adventure. Rating: 6/10
Thank goodness it's finally updated. Although there are still issues, at least I can play smoothly now. So I will change it to a positive review. The game is good, but Chinese characters are not displayed properly, and there are still some words and sentences that have not been translated or translation errors.
