"Aussie Sports VR 2016" is a failed attempt to make a set of VR Australian supports, using licensed sports like the AFL without permission (oops), but the developers were spared any time in court because the game failed so badly nobody cared. Because you know what Australian sports fans don't do? Play games in VR. This is a game for nobody. What do you do in the game? Play some minigames and watch some FMV in VR. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Но минусы перевешивают. Управление часто неудобное и неотзывчивое, что снижает удовольствие от игрового процесса. Мини-игры быстро становятся однообразными и не предлагают достаточной глубины. Отсутствие внятного обучения и каких-либо интересных целей или прогресса разочаровывает. 'Aussie Sports VR 2016' – это скорее технологическая демонстрация, чем полноценная игра. Хорошая задумка, но сырое исполнение. Рекомендуется только самым ярым поклонникам Австралии или VR, готовым закрыть глаза на недостатки.
