About
Welcome to Aurora Hills!
Nestled deep within the Appalachian Mountains, Aurora Hills was known for its thriving industry and its picturesque landscape. Owing to the region's natural resources, Aurora Hills was looking to become one of the most prosperous towns in the state.

All is not how it seems, however. A series of disappearances of residents and tourists alike have plagued the region over the past few years, sparking a mass exodus from the small town. Now, in October 1981, the town is a shell of its former self. The prosperity that once blessed Aurora Hills has all but evaporated.
Working as a park ranger, you must investigate what's going on with these disappearances and answer questions that have tormented residents for years. Why has there been an increase in disappearances over the past 6 months? Why are there no traces of the people who went missing? Perhaps most importantly, who, or what, could be behind all of this? It's up to you to venture forth, deep into the national park, to uncover the mysteries of Aurora Hills...

Fun game but I recommend doing more research on West Virginia. We don't have moose (wrong climate) or true Lake Trout. The Cottontail Rabbit is native but it's specifically the white and Appalachian cottontail. Both distinct and live in different habitats. The West Virginia Herald isn't a newspaper. We have more than one newspaper so they don't just go by state name. I'm only saying this because the scenery is well done and I love the idea of a game set there. But I wish a bit more time had been taken to world build rather than just guessing. Honestly, it took me out of the game as a native West Virginian. So not a big thing, just something to consider. Loved the elevated HOG style puzzles. They felt more difficult than the regular repeated HOG ones which was a lot more fun and challenging. Definitely worth a play , especially since it's free.

Bu ücretsiz oyunun atmosferi çok iyi. Keyifle oynadım. Tek anlama veremediğim konu iki ranger'ın neden telefon veya telsiz yerine birbirlerine not bırakmalarıydı.
Meh. Positives: the artwork and sound are very nice if you like older style point-and-click games (which I do). The puzzles are good. They are just different enough that you may have not seen them before; yet familiar enough that you know what to do. Cons: just some annoying things like having to click everywhere because the goal location isn't intuitive (car keys). The soda says it's sugar free but it contains high fructose corn syrup. The string puzzle was not accurate. For a simple game I found I needed hints way more than expected.
Honestly for a free game it was a worthwhile 2 hours. I already bought Chapter 2
