I bought this game on release date for a reason: I've always enjoyed formidable obstacle courses that take brain power and extreme hand eye coordination to pass (Mainly for bragging rights) I was astounded when I found out the precision needed to make every jump, the accuracy is bonkers and it really makes you squint your eyes. Sort of like turning the radio down to find a parking spot. You will be punished if you make a bad decision, which to me adds to the suspense of beating it. I get lost in the appealing art style and shadowy effect the game offers. The chill music is also very catchy. You cant beat the price for what this game offers. Highly recommend. 9.99/10
Sci-Fi Platformer with gameplay reminiscent of the game "Only Up". You need to help the astronaut return to the ship. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/dD1mFjRRwVs A complex game with simple rules. You must reach the top of the map to win the game. You need to run, climb, jump over various objects and dodge traps to get higher and higher to the very top. If you fall, you will be reborn at the nearest checkpoint, but if you leave the game and return, you will have to start the run from the beginning. + Nice graphics. + Pleasant, relaxing music. + Complex, dynamic gameplay. + There are checkpoints. + As you progress, you can find hidden objects and other astronauts. + Achievements.

What a blast! This is a frustrating precision puzzle platformer similar in concept to the likes of Only Up, ALTF4 and many others. What I really like about this game compared to those is the skill element. The controls are crisp and precise allowing for a satisfying feel in the air and on ground. It swaps the randomness and frustration of some other platformers and allows you to focus on getting better and streamlining your runs. I love getting better at the wall running mechanic to shave that extra second off my run and it feels great when you pull it off perfectly. It is deceptively addictive. I find myself constantly saying "one more run" and finding justification for why my previous run "didn't count". 10/10 recommend.
FUN AND CHALLENGING
found vince and alejandro first try
I recently had the opportunity to try out "At Light Speed," and my experience left me with mixed feelings. This ambitious project has some noteworthy aspects, but it also has some areas where it falls short. The graphics and visuals in "At Light Speed" are impressive, to say the least. The attention to detail in the starships, planets, and celestial objects is commendable. The vastness of space is beautifully rendered, immersing players in a visually captivating universe that's a treat for the eyes. The game's music is exceptional. It is perfect for the setting of the game and makes you feel calm in a somewhat frustrating game. However, "At Light Speed" does have some issues. The controls can be somewhat complex, which may pose a steep learning curve for some players. However, the game is designed to be difficult so it isn't really a problem. What is a problem though is that you cannot change keybinds. This can make playing the game tiresome as your fingers are uncomfortable after a certain time of playing the game. The performance in this game is very smooth. I didn't drop any/many frames when i was playing, which led to me having a smooth experience playing this game. In conclusion, "At Light Speed" is a game with potential and grand aspirations. Its stunning visuals and great music make it a game worth playing, but the controls could be better for a game like this where your moves need to be so precise and hopefully they add customisable controls in the future.
Challenging level design, and super fun!
This game takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride in the best possible way! The genre is not one I am normally drawn to, but this game surprised me with its depth. The ambiance and feel of the game are very calming and can be a welcome reprieve when testing your mental fortitude as your character jumps over moving space rocks! A well-made game by a great publisher - I'm looking forward to more! 10/10.
A frustratin' yet addictin' platformer. I fell soo much that I got better at the first section of jumps ha. Not bad for under 5 bucks. Sample gameplay: https://youtu.be/OL8X73hqYd4
Extremely challenging but crazy addictive/fun. Be prepared to fall A LOT!
