Astonia Remastered

The game just doesn't run correctly on my computer. I'm using Windows 11, Lenovo Flex 6 laptop. Started the game, and I couldn't figure out how to move for 10 minutes. ASDW doesn't work, and arrow keys also don't work. Turns out my cursor isn't correctly displayed in game. My cursor is on the left side of the screen, while a tile in the middle of the screen is highlighted. The GUI causes all text to be so small that's almost impossible to read. I found the chat interface, and tried typing "hello, is anyone here?" I could see my text showing up, but no one responded, so it's possible no one could see anything I was saying, and as such, they couldn't help. Also every key is connected to a hot button, so while I was trying to chat, all the hot buttons kept getting activated and I kept getting messages saying "you can't use spells" in the middle of trying to say something. It might be helpful to disable the hot-button aspect while I'm typing in chat, but if that were happening to anyone else I'm sure they would have complained, so it's possibly just not working on my computer. I finally figured out how to move. I had to put my cursor wayyyy ahead of where I wanted to go, since it was aligned improperly. An NPC said "let me teach you the game", with an option to say yes. I couldn't click yes, however. Since the cursor is not aligned, I'd have to completely guess where on the screen I should click, since where I'm seeing my cursor and where the game is seeing the cursor are entirely separate. 15 minutes of hopelessness before finally giving up.

I love this game. Even though it is a bit punishing for new player but 99% of players are actually great.

This game was fun 20 years ago. game does not load correctly. just go play Ultima Online instead

Dose not seem to be working. Saying not connected,and password user name wrong.

I've played the original Astonia, was a long time subscriber before ultimately moving on in my MMO journey. I miss the old days, but this current incarnation is rather nostalgic for me. Still great, and the updated graphics are amazing.
