Asteroids and Aliens

[h1]Experienced on the Meta Quest 3[/h1] I don't do video gameplay or reviews on bad VR games anymore. In fact, I don't like doing even these Steam reviews for bad VR games. It feels like kicking a dead horse. However, I guess it's good to give feedback to the developer and to warn anyone about possibly buying this game. Frankly, this game was DOA on release. There's zero reviews and I'm not surprised. Did anyone actually buy this? Well, if the developer doesn't realize this, let me spell it out. This game is very out-dated. It's basically a 90-360 wave shooter / slasher. You slash your light saber at incoming enemies in waves. It's too simplistic. Any VR veteran has already played a game like this, which were usually released as free to play games. I don't see anyone being entertained by this, except for maybe little kids new to VR. I'm just shocked the developer is charging $19.99 USD for this. Is the developer trolling or are they serious? I'm hoping they were just trolling. In any event, the game works as advertised. So I will give kudos to the dev for that. There's also several options to play the wave slasher your way ... from 90 degrees to 360 degrees ... to the amount of time ... to the "difficulty" .... several unlocks like light saber color and skybox design. Nice stuff. But you can put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig. [b]Rate 3/10.
