Reviews
Asteroids ++ is a single player game based on the classic arcade game but with a variety of skills and weapons purchasable between battles. Each battle occurs in a zone which consists of multiple waves. Each planet consists of multiple zones and when all zones for a planet are won, the planet is liberated. You can configure a variety of load outs, albeit you'll discover quite quickly that certain weapons and perks are much better than others. Difficulty scales appropriately. The sound and music is of acceptable quality. Infiland currently only has this game and The Colorful Creature available on Steam. While I can't attest to the quality of the latter, this game is a fun and fresh take on the arcade classic. If you're into 2D classic arcade games, roguelikes, and 2D space combat games, this title likely offers something for you. 87% of the 89 reviews for this game are positive. The negative reviews are mostly from when the game was launched when it still had advertisements and many bugs. Out of the 8 negative reviews in English, 3 complain about bugs and/or crashes, 2 complain about ads, and the other 3 have a combined playtime of 0.4 hours with either reviews that make no sense or complain about the game being boring or low effort. For an Asteroids-based game, it's pretty good. It's a solid recommend for those seeking such a title. Especially since it is free. SCORE: 4/5 - Recommend

I like the gameplay of this game, 2d shooting the tank controls are rough but I got used to it. As you go through levels you get increasingly more powerful and most levels become a breeze. I had fun. There was a time the game crashed on start up but the dev fixed it very fast. Things I don't like: The UI is rough. There is a potentially very fun sandbox mode where you can spawn in any number of enemies but you need to have the corresponding steam item to spawn it, these steam items can be upgraded and more if buy the dlc. There are also ads for other things the dev has made that goes away with the dlc. There are so many things around the dlc and steam items. I feel all games should be focused on the game and making it as fun as possible, I'm just so annoyed by all the incentives to buy the dlc and push to spend money on steam items.
It's fine. My only real complaint is that turning isn't independent of momentum, meaning that when you turn your movement automatically changes with your turning even if you aren't actively thrusting, meaning you can't strafe, which is the primary tactic of the original Asteroids and the mechanic that makes it interesting to play. EDIT: apparently the dev read this review and added the original control style as a mechanic, which is pretty based regardless of whatever else you might think of the game.
i think it is a very amazing game it is pretty easy and ur inventory won't be so empty i recommend it
Игра, чтобы скоротать немного времени
Miła gierka do popykania przez chwile.
depresyona girip delirirsen birşeyler düşünmeyi bırakıp tıklayarak aktifleştirebildiğin bir "şey"
Fun little game, played on novice until it got too easy Removing shop levels on higher difficulties ruins it for me though, feels like I'm loosing progress instead of making it and that sucks the enjoyment out of the game :/ for an hour or 2? great any longer? meh It's free though
Cool game. Good Representation. Very good music I HAVE to say; I enjoyed listening. I had fun playing so far
boring and unoriginal
