Assault of the Robots is another asset flip from serial offenders, A Nostru. All these guys do is rip off Unity assets and game demo packs, slap their own name on them as if they wrote the game themselves, and then try to scam gamers into paying them for the games of other, real game developers.
This time they've ripped off a lame Unity 2D side scrolling twin stick shooter with lame soldier paper-doll style assets and robots to shoot... if you could. They bungled the asset pack and the mouse aim doesn't work properly, so it's broken. Who knew, people who can't write their own games can't even manage to make other people's code work when they're ripping it off.
An important note: A Nostru are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. A Nostru have shown a repeated pattern of trying to scam gamers, here are some examples of other asset flip scams they've pulled:[list]

Another special note: A Nostru have a number of fake reviews on this game in an attempt to mislead gamers by creating a fake positive review score. The reviews are all from known/compromised pay-per-review accounts, all in Russian or broken English, and show as Steam purchasers (to make the fake reviews count). The fake reviews are all posted within roughly 24 hours of the game launch. This is an appalling and unacceptable act of review manipulation.
Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. They make it harder for gamers to find decent games made by genuine game developers. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend.
