About
Gobsmacked is about riding a wave of chaos as you smash, tear, & shoot your way through waves of procedurally generated gladiator arenas, performing for adoring fans. It's the fast-paced mini-FPS roguelite you’ve always dreamed of getting your gobliny claws on.
You are a furry, frenetic, sensationally stylish goblin.
Spend your cash on permanent gear you can equip at the start of a run, or arena upgrades to make the run you're on easier. Will you upgrade your flamethrower to bounce off walls or upgrade your melee attacks to explode on impact?
Grapple, glide, double-jump, climb & stomp your way to victory. Gobsmacked is all about momentum and verticality.
Put on a show to entertain the crowds; they determine your rewards.

Gobsmacked is fully physically simulated. You can snatch, throw, kick and gleefully wreck almost anything you can see.

Our whole thing is "small, delightful, obnoxious games sold for the same price as a beer during happy hour". We don't put this on sale. It's a low sale-ish price, all the time. Pick it up if you think it looks cool!

Fun but really lacks content or some reason to keep playing. This feels harsh because i did enjoy the time I played but it doesn't amke me want to play it again.
BEAT UP BOTS GET GOLD BEAT UP MORE YEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH (lil bit of jank here and there but super fun)
Outrageous, gremlin FUN!
It's alright. The movement and grabbing things has a weird feeling like there's an input cooldown that you're always waiting for. The only thing that has a chance of killing you is explosions, but there's upgrades to make you invincible to them. And in the later levels the framerate gets pretty bad from how many enemies there are at once, even with my specs. It's got some decent roguelite mechanics so for the like $2 I paid it was fun enough to fly around and create broken builds for a bit.
I'm a little goblin and I love it!!!!!! 😈😈😈 GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD
Overall good roguelike but maybe needs more gamemodes and upgrades
You are goblin -shut up, yes you are- goblinate that arena.
The best way I would describe this game is with 2 words 'goblin core' Gobsmacked is a bonkers rougelite shooter game where you play as goblin that destroys robots to earn gold for upgrades both for your run and permenantly. These upgrades allow for some nutty combos like do you want to shoot 7 grenades at the same time while they bounce all over the arena and make you hit the skybox? you can do that, you want a precise bow that can be burst fire and one shot almost any enemy? you can do that, you want to just blow air to push your enemies, yeah you can I guess. All of these combined with the amount of gold that can appear at one time which can bring a slot machine jackbot screen to shame, I imagine this is what goblins dream about in their sleep in this universe. the game isn't to hard or long but it is very fun to play with some nice sound and music to accompany it and I will say I gotta respect the devs and what they have done and what they are doing. I have to give respects for the devs for not only start making another game and keep going despite the every few people who have seen this game and for reducing the price for more people to experience this game is really and I wish them best and I hope more people experience the game and show some love for the devs
This game was suprisingly fun for the short run time. It's a little janky, but the concept is honestly really good. Was super satisfying to stack up items and instantly clear a room. Hope they expand on this a little more in the future!
Fun little roguelike with interesting meta-progression. The art style is very fun, the gameplay is quick and chaotic, and the build progression is interesting. You play as an insane little goblin that can jump around like a monkey and rip robots and the arena itself apart to use as a thrown weapon. To give you an example of how a run will go, you can start with a simple crossbow (with googly eyes which I LOVE) that fires one arrow with a bit of drop and not much going for it. By the end of the game that same crossbow will fire a massive cone of 11 arrows that not only explode, but bounce 3 times first and each arrow can be picked back up to reload. Each time you fire your weapon you'll max out your combo meter and hear dozens of explosions as a chain reaction of enemies go flying around the arena, gold showering you from the cheering spectators. It took me around 3 hours to 100% it without trying very hard so it's VERY short, but if you can pick it up for $1-5 I think it's perfectly worth it. It isn't a demo, but it certainly isn't full-length
