Armillo

"Armillo" is an unusual 3D action platformer, a mildly Sonic-3D-esque roller where you roll around some tiny planetoids, collect stuff, fight/avoid enemies... it's consoley stuff but lacks controller support (fine, PC is best with KB+M), but the problem is that the KB+M controls aren't that great either. The premise is fine but the game lacks polish, looks and feels dated, and there's some killer bugs. The game isn't maintained (possibly a student project?) so this won't be fixed. What do you do in the game? Console-esque action platforming/rolling, putting up with bugs, wondering if this is from 2020 or 2010. Visually, this has some fairly mediocre/dated looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This one scores a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.

Esse jogo foi desenvolvido originalmente para o Nintendo Wii U e utilizava os controles de movimento do gamepad para movimentar o Armillo, nesse port para PC essa funcão se perdeu infelizmente, mas o jogo continua muito bom de se jogar, tem desafios bem criativos, se tiver em mente que é um jogo Indie antigo diria que vale apenas por um preco baixo

就当作是弹球游戏玩就好了，反正剧情俺看不懂。 多样化的小游戏玩法，各种小迷宫，跳跃，Boss战。 主角扮演会滚动的小狗狗一路冲撞救下被囚禁的小精灵，对抗会囚禁小狗狗的飞碟机器人的小故事。 这游戏菜单音效和Steam聊天提示音效好像一毛一样··· 咋一看玩起来听无脑的，但后面有些关卡解锁条件俺没看懂于是弃坑了， 还有限时2D模式，那个2D模式难度挺高的···在3-4那卡关了~QAQ~

Amazing little hidden gem, more than worth your time. It appears to be a port of a game originally released exclusively on the Wii U back in 2014, as such the game may appear slightly dated, but I honestly like the old console look myself. Apart from performance issues (that can cause consistent micro-stutters) the game runs fine and is quite intuitive to learn. There's plenty to do if you just want to run through the game once and there's also plenty to come back for once you've unlocked and purchased some upgrades later down the line if you're feeling like a completionist. All in all, this is a game that's definitely worth giving a shot, especially if you've got a soft spot for legacy console titles.

Esse jogo é fenomenal em todos os aspectos! Os personagens são carismáticos, o jogo é bem divertido e intuitivo, além das músicas serem muito boas! Gostei tanto que praticamente joguei mais de uma vez todas as fases, incluindo as bônus e especiais! Recomendo muito, ainda mais que tem tradução e é de graça! (Mas não me importaria em pagar para jogar essa obra de arte) Nota: 15/10
