Fun little game that I beat in just over 7 hours. Of course, that doesn't really matter, it's free. If you've played The Long Dark, you will certainly notice elements that seem to have been inspired by the core game mechanics and the story line of TLD. Honestly, after between 30 to 90 minutes I was already considering this “The Long Dark but in the desert”.
Even the monster that lurks in the cave and near the Sulfur factory resembles the monster from the Halloween event a few years back in TLD
. The only annoying thing I found was the back and forth between resource stashes to craft items, to then realize I need another tool that I left somewhere in a container to finish that first item. The back and forth is may be, 15% of my playthrough. Other than that, it’s fun and free. Give it a try!
Gratula! Szép volt, jó volt.. folytatás következik?
I'm new to the survivor genre and I really enjoyed this game. It has a good story and graphics are pretty good but not perfect. I did experience some framerate issues but they weren't too bad or distracting. The controls are simple and easy to learn. It's tagged as Multiplayer but that is not the case. Highly recommend checking it out! Who knew trying to survive in one of the most inhospitable places on earth could be so fun and relaxing! If they can do this with a free game, I'd love to see what they could do on a big budget game.
I get that it's free and a student project ... but if you get soft-locked out of harvesting a rabbit from the very start (and no way to get past it), that doesn't bode well for the rest of it. Can't recommend a waste of time.
good game I like it but I still dont understand why the steam page says multiplayer.
Seems promising but i just dont get hooked. It gets a bit monotonous but is a functioning game and gets a 3/5 from me.
its free and to be fair a fairly god concept this game would be well advised to seek out a big studio and get in bed with some real game making this is a great idea and the bones are here but the content needs seriouse rethinking and the games aim although competent needs sub stories to intrigue the player into wanting to explore not just survive to get to a set point put some sub plots into it and maybe some small dangerouse animals at the start to get the mindset your in a really dangerouse place snakes, scorpions and rats that infect food and water that sort of thing
