Dear developers, I'm writing this to express my sincere appreciation for Arid. It's a fantastic game with a great atmosphere! I would like to humbly ask if there's any possibility of adding a Portuguese (Brazil) translation in the future. We have a large community of survival game players in Brazil who would love to experience this game in our native language. Thank you very much for your hard work and for considering this request! Best regards.

positive critical· bar length = how often the theme comes up
FP Survival. This game is an insanely well done atmospheric survival game. The amount of detail put into this game is crazy. I was so impressed with the setup of the entire theme. The macot is really cute. I played on the hardest difficulty and WOW did it provide a challenge! It wasn't as impossible as I thought it was. I won't mention the numerous "adventurous" deaths and "whoops I didn't watch my food gauge even though I have like tons of food on my person and I just didn't eat it"
really good kinda like a rustic survival game
Abandonware.. game was forgotten about as soon as they "won an award". shame really.
Before I write anything, I just want to say that I understand this game was made by students, and that they probably didn't have as many resources as any game company would have. At first glance I did have some fun playing the game, it was nice seeing the map and seeing how the game works. However, that was cut short. I played the game on the hardest difficulty and nothing felt challenging to me. The game feels more like an escape room than a real survival experience, items like food and water are handed to you so often that gathering them becomes almost pointless. The game will also give you a ton of items you don't need, so you either carry them with you (making you walk slow) or fill up your inventory, or you stash them in a chest. The game will keep generating new points where you'll make your temporary base, and eventually, when you least expect it, that one item you were given is suddenly needed, now you have to go all the way back just to grab a single item that alone takes up 1/6 of your inventory. If this happened once, it would be fine, but unfortunately it happens way too many times, and it's the reason I stopped playing the game halfway through. Some items are also only given a limited number of times and can never be found again, like ''unrefined wood'. If you misuse it by crafting things you don't need, well, have fun starting a whole new save. The map also has some bugs where you can fall into a place and get stuck there, or there's no collision, so you fall, take damage, or just die. Achievement-wise, many of them are bugged. I had three achievements I was supposed to get but didn't: "Mining Town," "Peekaboo!," and "Art is Everywhere." Only on my second save did I get these achievements, except for "Mining Town," which is still bugged. It's a shame, because the people behind the game seemed very committed and enthusiastic about making it, and it's still a good game at the end of the day. I haven't heard anything new about the studio or the college, but I'd love to see a new game from them in the near future. Overall, it's a good game with many flaws, and that's understandable given it's a game made by students. still enjoyable but one i will never finish 100%
