I rode so hard for this game for so long. It used to be so much fun, and you could certainly spend money on it if you wanted to, but it wasn't difficult to have a good time free to play. The redesign removed everything fun, unique, and sustainable from a game I used to love. It is nothing more than a money grabbing gacha now. In addition to the steam hours I played another ~1000 on mobile. Deleting it on both devices now, all the fun has been sucked away. RIP Arcane Rush, you were such a good time when you stayed true to yourself.

Play it for free, it is nice for the start, DONT SPEND ON IT, you just wont get much out of it, the game at later stages are totally unbalanced and for love of all things holy, FIX kickstarts!! It is so frustrating
Arcane Rush is a game that I used to recommend to everyone. I even gave it a very positive review when it first came out, and one of the things that I really liked about it at the time was the fact that it did not feel pay-to-win. This is no longer the case. Now, I'm not a person who never puts money into a game, and for this one, I was ok putting $20 a month to get a new hero and experience, materials, etc. However, I do not have a disposable income that I can invest to keep up with whales that can sink hundreds or thousands of dollars to collect the hundreds of legendaries (and growing) needed to actually stay competitive, nor would I want to. In the original game, you might be slightly behind others as their cards might have a bit higher stats and they may have better relics, but you never felt like you had no chance. Now, if you are not lucky enough to get the right legendary cards, your deck just cannot compete. Add to this the fact that there will be new sets with much more powerful cards, and Free-to-play or lower budget players are never going to be able to stay competitive. I was lucky enough that when Baewatch came out I had enough materials from the weekly freebies that I was able to get a good amount of those cards, yet I am still way behind when it comes to trying to be competitive. Let's now talk about the fact that there is the fact that there is no duplicate protection on legendary cards. If you cannot afford to get the guaranteed non-duplicates, you will regularly see your legendary pulls, which should be a source of excitement, turn into fragments. This is not a good feeling. At all. With hundreds of legendary variants, the average player is never going to come close to collecting them all. And when you are buying your packs one at a time, as most players will be, the amount of time it takes to get that legendary to drop in the first place makes it that much worse when you see your powerful new card is a duplicate and will not help. Arcane Rush is a game that, while it wasn't perfect, I really enjoyed. I loved getting the new dealer each season, learning the new cards and how they played together, and being able to progress each season. It felt like my time was respected, and that I could enjoy the game whether I decided to put money into it or not. In it's current state, I could not possibly recommend someone new pick it up, because being a new player in this current game state is not going to be a fun experience. If you are looking for a good auto-battler that respects your time, get The Bazaar, as the developers of Arcane Rush respect nothing but your wallet these days.
When i first downloaded the game there were 3 dealers (Fiddle, Tuck, Gorm). The game has expanded and was fun into the overhaul a couple months back. Before it was fun because everyone had the same decks to play and you could learn based on what you saw others doing. Now, its a P2W pile of junk. Each new set has brought very strong cards that you have to buy if you want to keep that faction relevant. There were a lot of elements of this game that were fun, but these Gacha sytems are unfun and the transition has gone to P2W. I used to pay for the pass because it was the only reasonably priced item, but the last few have been wasted and pointless. If you start out new and want to go F2P you'll probably have fun, but it won't last if you actually want to stay competitive.
While the game itself is very enjoyable, I cannot recommend it. The monetization system that came with the overall of the game is just awful. I'd don't understand how they though making the game a gacha was the solution to the new player experience.
The game has potential, but the pay-to-win aspect is quite heavy. Players who don’t spend money have to invest a huge amount of time just to reach an average level of power. The ranking system also feels unbalanced, making competition unfair. Item prices are quite high, so I hope the developers can adjust things to make the game more friendly for free-to-play players.
Game's economy is completely ruined: 1) you get useless cosmetic tokens as reward 2) you get common cards in packs... but you have ALL common cards from the very beginning! 3) there is no way to obtain specific card you need - you can only rely on RNG. 4) builds revolve around specific legendary versions. If you don't have it - it simply useless to play the race.
Great Game but look at that kitty, whoever pass by can pet it and give it a thumbs up. Have a nice day :3 /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__)
jeux agréable malgré une grosse partie aléatoire
