Arcadia is a fun, casual little shooter. There are a variety of enemies that will hunt you down, and a few little tactics you can use to take them down. Try to get the best score and stay on top of the leaderboard. The game is played from a top-down perspective.

I normally write more about games I am reviewing, but this one doesn't have much to talk about. You're a triangle, and you shoot everything else in the universe to make fireworks appear until you mess up, touch something, and die. That's pretty much it. I'm fairly sure this is a first work of an aspiring programmer, and it's not terrible by any means, but it's just not worth really playing when there are better options out there for your cash and your time. A quick look around the Steam Store will uncover more than a few games with more meat on their bones than this one. Geometry Wars is an obvious one, as was Waves. They have everything this game has, and more. As a bright point, I did like the song track. Emphasis on *THE* - it's the one in the trailer, and the only one, and it plays on loop.
[-] • Globalement mal foutu.

Horrible game is horrible. Get Geometry Wars instead.
Literally broken. The ship doesn't change direction which makes it impossible to play. Avoid at all costs
This little game had a lot of potential, but the developer completely abandoned it so it is now left in a trashy beta developement state that is not even worth $5. I strongly suggest not buying this junkware. If for nothing else, Valve does not deserve to further profit from peddling pathetic garbage like this on their network. I would have paid $15-$20 for a decent asteroids clone. Had I known that Valve's store page showcase of this crap was a facade to sucker customers into throwing $5 away on barely developed abandonware, I would not have even considered buying it.
This being "no longer available" on Steam definitely makes sense. It's an interesting idea but needed way more work and polish. The yellow-brown squares and the green squares that chase but avoid your shots were particularly annoying to deal with, the former especially just for how tough they were to kill compared to how little time you have (relatively speaking) to react to them. Pivot Mode is fundamentally broken; a triple-shot doesn't do much to help you when your fire-rate can't match the pace of some of the enemies and you aren't allowed to move. If you have this game, the best thing I can say is "you have a delisted game on Steam" - there's a little bit of fun to be had, but it's more frustrating than anything.
I played this game years ago and thought the remaining achievements would be easy. They were, except getting 1000 kills appears to be broken. I used a PS4 controller and the right analog is for steering the ship, but it's flipped on one axis making it a real challenge to control. Holding R2 and moving around with the left stick worked fine. Not recommended since it's broken, can't get the last achievement, and isn't for sale any longer.
This game feels like it's still in the early access. It's been a long time since I touched this game but from what I remember there was no tutorial or explaination of the controls. It's unfortunately also no key binding feature which is important for a game like this that heavily relies on the control scheme. What is even worse is that it doesn't support controllers even though the store page says it does. This is probably the worst Steam game that I own and I'm surprised 52% of the reviews for this game is positive, as I think this game is barely playable.
Hey everyone. It's 2020 and by request of the developer, the review section is now a chat. So... Sup y'all? P.S. The game suck.
it's buggy and not well programmed. no controller support!
