It’s just a bunch of random things thrown at you. It feels like a mobile game thrown together with timers and random junk and two currencies and beauty cups and who knows what else. It throws it all at you in a matter of minutes. There is more content but it’s just piling this stuff on in a haphazard way. Maybe if you want a strange mobile game you would enjoy this? I don’t think most of these reviews are real, and I do not recommend this.
Aquarium Land is the eight game that i played of the QubicGames bundle 20 games for 20$ that happen during every big sale(so far) The overview of this bundle is if you like repetitive grindy game go for it, if not, don't buy Aquarium land follow the same formula as dig deep or astro miner where you collect something, buy upgrade collect more thing, etc. The scaling is fine but waiting around for customer to come and buy fish to make your money really sucked. plus the fact that there was no automatic system to make the shopper pay. I might have given it a mixed positive review if this was my first game of the bundle but it being the eight, i've already seen the formula multiple time and it is getting a bit old.
this is a port of one of those generic phone games. ( i admit it has appeal), but loose its shine even quicker when you arent waiting on ads.
The game is okay but very repetitive and grindy. More grindy than does it good. You essentially walk around, catch fish, sell them and use the money to unlock more catchable fish. Every now and then you are given a key to catch a fancy special fish in a cave. There are 9 locations to complete, all with the same things to do but more expensive unlocks. Sometimes the game felt kinda buggy, too.
Genre
Ein Top Down Action Adventure mit Fokus auf Ressourcen sammeln
Story
Fazit

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
It's okay if you get it cheap or bundled, but it's quite literally a roblox format game. You can play many games like this for free on Roblox. Good for a time waste if you're bored.
Review — Aquarium Land (Steam, 2024) | Homa Games
Aquarium Land feels like a mobile/tablet game brought to PC, but it’s one that surprisingly nails that “just one more run” flow. It’s simple, fast, and very reward-heavy, which makes you stick with it longer than you’d expect. Story & Setup (spoiler-free) The “story” is mostly a light tycoon premise: you start with one shop where you place aquariums and sell fish. Behind your shop is your main gameplay area: a dive spot where you can:

collect fish to fill your tanks,
dive for pearls that give you gems,
and gather shipwreck parts for a bonus once the set is complete.
Once you earn enough money, you move on to the next store and repeat the loop with more aquariums and upgrades. It’s not a story you play to “see the ending”—it’s mainly a framework for progression. Gameplay: addictively simple, clearly repetitive The core is a very straightforward loop that works because everything feels snappy and satisfying:

Diving / swimming — You move with one joystick. Catching and collecting is largely automatic: keep things in your field of view (like fish) and the game does the rest.
Selling / shop handling — Indoors it’s just as hands-off: you walk up to your aquariums and interactions happen automatically. It’s less about micromanagement and more about moving, upgrading, expanding.
Upgrading / unlocking — Your earnings unlock new aquariums and new stores. That’s where the hook is: you’re always chasing the next milestone, and the pacing is quick.
But yes: it does get repetitive. Each new store is basically the same routine again. Still, it stays fun because the game locks you into a steady rhythm of small goals and frequent rewards. Audiovisual Visually it’s simple but clean: colorful, readable, and designed for quick feedback. What’s genuinely enjoyable is the large variety of fish—the collecting aspect feels rewarding. Audio is the weakest part: the music does the job, but it can become repetitive during longer sessions. Steam extras There are achievements, but no trading cards—so less “Steam meta-grind” if you’re into that. Price & playtime At the regular price (around €5) it’s fair if you’re okay with repetition and want a chill, fast-paced tycoon loop. On sale (like €1.24) it’s honestly a no-brainer: you can easily get a few relaxing hours out of it, especially if you want to unlock multiple stores/aquariums. Verdict Aquarium Land is simple, sometimes monotonous, but also surprisingly addictive thanks to smooth controls, fast rewards, and clear goals. Don’t expect deep management or a big narrative—expect a cozy flow game you keep playing “for a bit longer.”
