About
The world ended. You don't know how. You don't even know who you are.
Waking in a derelict hospital with no memories, your only clue is a photograph of a beautiful, androgynous stranger named Taylor. He doesn’t know you, but circumstances soon bind your fates together. His desperate plan to create a vaccine needs your strength, and your journey to uncover the truth may depend on him just as much.
By day, you are his shield, the muscle protecting a brilliant but guarded scientist. You are partners, allies against the dead that walk, forging a bond in the harsh light of a broken world.

But when night falls, everything changes.
In the quiet darkness of your safe house, a different side of him surfaces. The guarded scientist disappears, replaced by a sweet, vulnerable, and shockingly affectionate soul who seeks you out for warmth and intimacy. His presence feels as real as the danger outside, pulling you into a secret world that seems to vanish with the morning sun.
You are now the keeper of a profound secret about the person you’re sworn to protect, a secret they themselves are unaware of. Will you be a compassionate guardian of their fractured state? Or will you embrace a connection that feels more real than the waking world, whatever the consequences?

There's definitely something bold about challenging the main player base of this type of game into going for a femboy, something you'd think most people wouldn't be into. But the game does a very good job of luring you in with its atmoshpere, its art style, and decent writing. Beyond that though, there are several sore points for me. However I don't want to confuse what I think makes the game bad as an adult game, with what makes the game bad for me personally. So let's break that down, starting with what the game advertises and delivers. For one, if you enjoy the scenes from the previews, know that it's pretty much all the ones in the game (like 80%). There are additional scenes, but they are seldom animated which is largely disapointing. For two, the gameplay is largely boring and repetitive. I understand visual novels are very limited in what they can do, but I'd argue if a dev can't come up with something interesting, it's better to stick to writing. Basically, the game is set in a zombie apocalypse, and as the MC called "Runner", most of the game is spent venturing out into the city to look for supplies while Taylor, a scientist, stays at the base to develop a vaccine. Scavenging means picking a spot, of which there are 5 in total, and looting it through a very basic mini game. Occasionally you'll encounter zombies, and those are about as exciting as those old Tiger Electronics game, with the zombies being still images, and veerrryyy slowly approaching you, then you click at the right moment to hit them, and that's it. I spent the whole game without ever getting hit, a toddler could figure this one out. As the days go by and you scavenge, you also build up trust with Taylor, until it gets flirtatious and more. And that's the game in a nutshell. It wasn't the worst game ever or anything like that, but it is very repetitive, its main gameplay features are tremendously boring, and the lack of animated scenes means there's little reward to show for it. The story itself isn't bad either, but without spoiling the ending, let's say it was very cliché and forgettable as well. In short, if you want a game where you survive in the apocalypse with a femboy, techinically that's what you get, but I'd argue it's all underwhelming. ** Now when it comes to how I personally feel about the game, the themes, and the character Taylor, that's a different story and I can't say people will relate, but I think it's worth discussing. In essence, the game feels very shallow. One of the first exchanges you get with Taylor from the moment you meet him is about what to do in an apocalypse. Or rather, how far people will go, and what they might discover about themselves when the world is no longer there to judge you. It's pretty heavy-handed, but it makes for a good theme for the story; you know you're about to get close to someone you wouldn't normally consider as a viable partner; someone with a d**k. For me, it's very reminiscent of that one episode from the Last of Us with Bill and Frank, who find each other at the end of the world and rediscover happiness through something that Bill especially, never got to experience. In a way, this is exactly what this game does for the player; if you imagine it's the apocalypse and the only person there happens to be smart, kind and beautiful, but also technically a guy, what then? The story challenges you to let go of social expectations, to play as if the world really is gone and no one is there to judge you, should you wish to explore something different, something that could turn out to be exciting. That's what the game appears to be setting up anyway, but then it never actually does anything with it. Taylor himself never has his sexuality explained; in fact when you first meet him, the game narrates the story by talking of Taylor with they/them pronouns as if it wouldn't be obvious to anyone that Taylor is a woman at first glance. It's only when the ridiculously tight yoga pants reveal his bulge that the narration switches to "he/him". And the part where the MC might discover something about himself in the apocalypse is also not something that is ever explored. There is no path of self-discovery where you realize you might be gay and falling for a man; it just happens, and even that is partly helped by the lazy premise that the MC starts blank, with no memories or recollections of who he is. But this ambiguity on both sides of the relationship is what really bothers me, ultimately. Because Taylor's sexuality and idendity is never explored in the slightest, there's no real understanding of why he is the way he is, not just phyically, but mentally too. It's so ambiguous that even the term "femboy" to describe him is never actually used, to the point that it would make more sense for him to just be a transwoman, which in turn makes the he/him usage feel borderline insulting. Now to be clear, I know femboys aren't inherently trans. But I wish Taylor's sexuality and how he expresses himself would at least be explored and explained, because otherwise it's just so hollow and confusing. I feel it makes for bad representation of everybody; gay, femboys and trans. It's too surface level. Hence I'm disappointed that the game didn't at least try to be more than its title. It could've been so much more and leave a much bigger impression as a result.

Oyunun olay örgüsü klasik.Karakterler iyi dizayn edilmiş fakat oyunda aşırı fazla mini game oynamak lazım.Oyunun çoğu zombi dövmek veya mini game yapmakla geçiyor.
Apocalypse with Femboy is an adult visual novel that blends romance, psychological horror, mystery, and survival into a narrative that is more ambitious than its unusual title might initially suggest. Developed by Pout Honey and published by Pout Honey together with Pink Twilight, the game places players in the role of a protagonist who awakens in a deserted hospital with no memories of who they are or how the world has fallen into ruin. Surrounded by terrifying creatures and armed with nothing more than a mysterious photograph of an unfamiliar young man, the player embarks on a journey where recovering lost memories becomes just as important as staying alive. This intriguing setup immediately establishes a strong sense of curiosity that drives the story from beginning to end. The narrative focuses heavily on the evolving relationship between the protagonist and the enigmatic companion found during the adventure. While romance serves as a central theme, the game gradually introduces darker secrets that reshape the player's understanding of both the characters and the devastated world around them. One of its more compelling ideas is the suggestion that the greatest threat may not be the monsters lurking outside, but rather the unsettling truths connected to the companion during moments of sleep. This supernatural mystery adds an unpredictable layer to the story, encouraging players to continue uncovering new revelations through each chapter. Although the experience follows the familiar structure of a visual novel, it avoids becoming entirely passive by incorporating player choices that significantly influence the direction of the story. Decisions affect character relationships, important events, and ultimately determine which ending players receive. The branching routes provide meaningful replay value, rewarding those willing to revisit earlier choices to discover alternate outcomes and hidden scenes. Small survival-oriented gameplay segments also help reinforce the dangerous setting, breaking up long dialogue sequences while reminding players that every day in this shattered world is a struggle for survival. The visual presentation successfully captures both the emotional and unsettling sides of the narrative. Character illustrations are expressive, allowing subtle emotions such as fear, affection, uncertainty, and vulnerability to shine through during conversations. Meanwhile, the abandoned hospitals, ruined streets, and desolate environments effectively communicate the loneliness of a civilization that has collapsed. The contrast between warm character interactions and bleak surroundings strengthens the emotional weight of the story, making the romantic moments feel more meaningful against the backdrop of constant danger. Sound design complements the experience with music that shifts naturally between quiet emotional melodies and darker, suspenseful compositions whenever the mystery intensifies. These musical transitions help establish atmosphere without overpowering the dialogue, which remains the primary focus throughout the game. Ambient effects further contribute to the eerie mood, enhancing exploration sequences and creating tension whenever players venture into uncertain territory. A notable strength of Apocalypse with Femboy is its willingness to combine several different genres without allowing one element to dominate the experience. Romance, horror, survival, mystery, and mature content are woven together in a way that generally feels cohesive rather than disconnected. The adult scenes are integrated into the characters' developing relationship instead of existing solely for fan service, allowing emotional investment to remain at the heart of the narrative. This balanced approach gives the story greater depth than many visual novels that rely primarily on explicit content as their defining feature. The game also offers respectable replayability thanks to its multiple endings, branching dialogue paths, unlockable scenes, and achievement system. Players interested in experiencing every possible conclusion will find enough variation to justify several playthroughs. Ongoing post-release updates and quality-of-life improvements further demonstrate the developers' commitment to refining the overall experience and addressing player feedback. Despite its strengths, the game is not without shortcomings. The pacing occasionally slows during lengthy conversations, particularly for players who prefer faster-moving gameplay. The survival mechanics remain relatively simple and function more as narrative support than as fully developed gameplay systems. Additionally, the mature themes and explicit content naturally limit its appeal to a niche audience, making it unsuitable for players seeking a traditional horror or survival experience without adult material. Overall, Apocalypse with Femboy succeeds in delivering a surprisingly engaging blend of emotional storytelling, mystery, psychological horror, and romance. Its memorable premise, strong character interactions, atmospheric presentation, and meaningful branching narrative create an experience that stands out within the adult visual novel genre. While its slower pacing and specialized subject matter may not appeal to everyone, players looking for a story-driven adventure with multiple endings and genuine emotional investment will likely find it to be a worthwhile experience. Rating: 8/10
the game is very relaxing
Best Femboy game that I have recently played. Story was decent, the end had a nice twist and was endearing. Some spots of the game felt really resource grindy, while other parts lacked more interaction with Taylor. A solid 7/10.
I was not expecting much from this game, but it surprised me. The writing was unexpectedly good. There is no celebration of toxic masculinity and there is an unexpectedly sweet courtship. The art is excellent. If it was AI, then it fooled me. And there are many decent mini-games. Way above average for an adult-only visual novel.
