Cheap, fun & simple platformer with an interesting main mechanic

it's a short but fun platformer with an interesting mechanic of creating your own platform, although it takes a few level before unlocking it. You can only do one bubble in the air so its not as op as it sounds.

What a delightful little precision-platformer this is. The 30 levels are perfectly-designed for speedrunning (4-6 hours to get all the achievements); but I reckon it will also be a lovely experience as a one-time - possibly single-session, depending on skill level - playthrough (which will take 1-3 hours). The art, like the music, is simple, and not especially beautiful. However, the main mechanic - as the frog protagonist you generate and jump on bubbles to traverse the world - is fresh, fun and, like all the best precision-platformers, requires some puzzling to work out the best route across each screen. For anyone who enjoyed jumping on bubbles in Animal Well, this will be right up your street - or, in this case, swamp. If you like frogs, bubbles and/or precision platforming this is the game for you! Oh, and it’s very cheap.

A short platformer with an interesting mechanic and speedrun potential, sadly, hindered by a steep increase in difficulty in the last 2 levels which made me wonder whether I missed a crucial mechanic. The game starts of as a fun -and interesting platformer, allowing you to discover new ways to chain the jump -and bubble-spawning mechanics together and genuinly making you feel like you're breaking the game in the best of ways. Sadly, in the last couple levels it feels like the devs decided to change the level-design-approach and, rather than letting you route in different ways (fe. by placing bubbles before committing to your jump), they enforce pixel-perfect jumps which feel more like a souls-like skill-check. It's the tonal difference between the first 28 and the last 2 levels which is sadly really frustrating -and confusing to me. Overall: highly recommend the first ~28 levels, especially given the low price. Afterwards decide whether or not it's worth it for you to complete the game based on your tolerance to frustrating pixel-perfect-jumps.

Was shorter than I expected, but for the price it feels adequate. Bubble mechanics could use a bit more info on obtaining them or perhaps even a UI element on what's available, but it's not a huge deal; figuring out how you can use them is a part of the game. I even got #3 on the final level's leaderboard (#4 on second-from-last,) but I have a feeling that's due to the game just releasing. :D One actual issue I had was dying in the water despite successfully bouncing out and onto the intended platform. Happened only once, at least. Some pixel-"near-perfect" areas got to me a bit as well, but that's a skill issue. Aerial control is super responsive as well, which is amazing if you're good at the game, and less so if you're not. :| Game took me 1.5 hours to complete, (900something seconds ingame iirc.) My problem solving abilities are lacking, so I'd expect a better player's first time to be 1-ish hour or less. Anyways, this is more of a diary entry than a review. Game has a great atmosphere and OST; very relaxing if you're not raging at your own inadequacy. :D

Juego corto pero muy divertido. Las mecánicas ofrecen mucha jugabilidad y puedes encontrar atajos si las usas bien. Diseño de niveles muy bueno. Juego recomendado!

Un juego de plataformas corto, pero muy cuco y con una dificultad super disfrutable. La mecánica de las burbujas es super divertida y mientras mas juegas, mas cómoda te sientes con ella. Es muy divertido para hacer contrareloj y competir con amigos para ver quien hace mejor tiempo. Muy recomendable!
