Very immersive gameplay-- very easy to lose track of time as you're managing your colonies and realizing your cohesive vision for your empire. It's a chill, almost meditative experience.
SimAnt on steroids. So many upgrades to choose from, good music, high quality. I cAnt stop playing this game!
I don't think the average person would enjoy this game. But for certain types of players it is a huge time sink with some great art and mechanics. There seems to be plenty of content, but the game itself can be a bit slow and isn't particularly exciting. I do think it is fun for at least a few hours or playthroughs.
amazingly complex strategy game with rpg bits. somewhat educational. this deserves more and credit and attention but its not for the feint of heart or for those with short attention span (5 hours in and i did not do that much)
This is a really cool turn based rts. The ant lore is well integrated into the mechanics of the game. And it gets deep! The audio and visuals are also great.
I am somewhat disappointed with this game. It has been on my radar for a while and I guess I was hoping for more. It was pretty inexpensive and game play is ok I guess. for 2021 it lacks a lot of what you would expect from a game. Now if it was 1995 then it would . . . well still kinda miss the mark. Ant games are few and far between so it dose fill a void and it isn't terrible. Upgrades and ant variety are good, but the learning curve is very high. The npc is a master and makes all the right moves while you are left making a lot of unguided guesses. This game will not appeal to many people. It is turn based, low graphic, and not much in game play to speak of. It is somewhat like Civ, but more Civ DOS edition. If your looking for an easy play with understandable choices and feature rich game play you won't like it. I am keeping it and will give it a few more try's to maybe not get my ass handed to me early on, but can't really say it is a great or even good game. I have played many better flash games. The devs seem to be fixing issues so bugs are being squashed . . . lol . . . ant game . . . bugs . . .
very nice ant colony sim. i love it. this game as a hidden gem for ant fans! it's the best ant i game played since empire of the ants from 20 years or so ago!
Absolutely love the depth in this game. So much control with how I want to build my colony. The music is also really good.
Need more ant games like this!!!
This game is so much fun! Very detailed and well made. I can tell a lot of research about ants was done for this game because the species are very true to life. If you are looking for a fun and addicting game. This is it!
