Anna: The Series Test

The game is good, but the English could use some fine-tuning. (6/10)

There isn't too much I can say about this game that hasn't already been highlighted. The Overall game itself is very enjoyable in terms of interaction and consequences, one of the greatest features being how the story plays out being in your hands, leaving you feel almost as if you are the narrator yourself, unfolding a story of which the protagonist is finding out at the same time as you. It's fun to go back and see how different choices play out into different animations and separate parts of the story. The games writer clearly has a direction in mind where everything must end up and im excited to see where this all leads, even if im on the linear path right now i'm excited for parts four and five to show the consequences my own choices have led me too. There is also only great things to be said for the animation style itself, certainly a unique world has been imagined and the style plays to its own strength, some of the frames in game are not only beautifully drawn but shaded and highlighted, drawing attention to just how in depth this world really is. The music is a massive draw for me too. Each 'subject' appears to have their own which without even meaning too, leads me too feel in a certain manner about each person. Some i'm anxious to talk too, others I feel so casual it's almost like greeting an old friend. Excellent work in this regard. In the interest of fairness I should say the writing itself can sometimes be a bit distracting, in terms of spelling errors and how some of the subjects talk, however I'm a bit more forgiving for the latter because this also blends in to how those people are and divides their personality from not only the other in-game NPC's, but the protagonist also. Of which we have already seen two major twists. Overall I'm excited to see how this game plays out, then have a replay and see how many other paths I could have taken. It's also fun spending time with each character to get a reading of why they are there, and what they're really about, and i'm also excited to see where the rest of the story takes us, after having just played act 3 and being introduced to some more really interesting characters. Some really good work has gone on here and I would definitely say it's worth spending your time here getting to know these characters. Highly recommend!

Nice game chapter 2 please.

For me this game had no feeling in the plot..............No explosions, No Rape and pillage. No magic, No Pirates and No earth destroyed by meteor attack.

Overall really good game. Although this is an adult visual novel I definitely enjoyed the characters and the story the most. The story has an interesting premise, philosophical questions and can change a lot depending on your choices. During my first playthrough I had a hard time choosing which one should be excluded from the test because I was curious how every story would continue. It’s also very satisfying if answers you have during the game get cleared up as you advance in the story and learn more about each character. I found the 5 “main” characters to be believable and I would say there isn’t a character in the game right now that I don’t like. I discussed the philosophical questions with a friend of mine which turned out to be a really interesting conversation, so the game is very capable of sparking conversations about various topics. I have played two romance paths, found one certainly cuter than the other one but I think both romances are written quite believable and in both you felt the chemistry between the characters.I could have done with a lot less transparent and skimpy outfits too but that’s only a minor critique I have, ultimately I don’t really care about the outfits since I stayed around more for the story. The English is rough in some sections but I am sure the biggest mistakes will get fixed with the final release though.

Really interesting story, good art with many CG and some animations and plenty of content for early access. Definitely recommend!
