RongRong why did you make this free. I should've atleast pay to play this masterpiece
Ann is a short RPG Maker horror game, taking around 2 hours to finish. The pixel art is charming and the cutscenes are a nice surprise for this kind of game, even if they're over quickly. The story is the best part, slowly connecting little hints into a bigger picture, and it ends up feeling more sad and intriguing than actually scary, which works in its favor. There are a few endings and secrets to find, and the puzzles are easy without being boring. The big downside is the chase scenes, which show up in pretty much every chapter and get annoying fast. The controls feel clunky, timing has to be near perfect, and one small mistake means instant death and a reload. This wouldn't be such a problem if it happened once, but having it repeat so often breaks the mood the game otherwise builds so well, especially since dying resets the music and you keep hearing the same intro seconds of songs over and over. Still, for a couple hours (and for the fact it's free), "Ann" delivers a decent story, nice presentation and a soundtrack worth hearing properly, even if the chase sequences make that harder than it should be.

It's a good video game! but we need Chinese!
so good, the true ending is so sad.The story was so good ,it felt like i watched an anime
took me 2 years to complete a level only to be able to beat it in like 20 minutes in my second playthrough
Jogo incrível demais pra ser gratis, aproveitem e apoiem
Another example of inflated steam rating simply because "free game = good game". The controls alone make me puke, where every cringy trigger freezes MC for a second alone make this unplayable. Plus, the trial-and-error gameplay? Seriously, with autosaving every room and at any second manually? What the point of any suspence and tension then? Garbage.
Security is the best character in the game for sure, super cool dude.
