Fantastic. I'm not a secrets/trophy kinda guy, so was satisfied hitting credits, not intersted in the collectbles or pursuing the wider mystery. So my playtime was pretty short. Still, I loved the time I spent with it, and can see how much passion and creativity went into this.
best game under 50mb in 20 years. Expect to have a really good time, don't worry about anything just go explore! havn't been that way? go! does it look like I can get there? hmmm maybe, lets try! This game legit makes dying annoying, but never punishing. You got that door open and then died to a thing? thats OKAY the door is still open! I can see why Bigmode started with this one.

One of these games where you see screenshots, reviews and be like "wtf is this ♥♥♥♥?". But then you start playing and be like "damn this game is good". Glad I gave it a try despite non-appealing look at first glance yet charming when you actually try it out.
Ok so I have reached a point in this game where I think reviewing is fair. It is safe to say that this game is actually such a brilliant puzzle game. Being in the Hidden Depths bundle is a perfect description of what this game is. So just go get this game and play it blindly. Although I will say with just how insane this game gets I would heavily recommend playing loosely alongside a friend so you can discuss ideas later on. Nonetheless truly an incredible game I am glad to have experienced.
This game was pleasant with all the puzzles and platformer elements. Did not deep dive too much into lore but still enjoyed!
Just released the Manticore, and I am so excited to write down this review. First of all, I have to say this game is PEAK and addictive. Second of all, can you imagine this game is only 33MB, which is about 10 pics in your phone? And you can game with smooth visual effect and countless hidden details? Compare to other pixel games like Terraria or Rain World, most of them are like at least 2GB+ storage. 33MB is just insane. I probably can play it on my Nokia from 10 years ago. Really have to give Billy Basso for all the credits. I probably will wonder in the Well for at least another a couple of hours since I haven't collect all the eggs yet. I've been a pixel game since day 1. That's how all games started, you know what I mean. Animal Well makes satisfied. Some suggestion: Though I enjoy all the puzzles, some of them are poorly guided, like "the cat rescue mission"; Would've been better if there's some instructions for flute sheets; The story line remains unclear even after I finished the story. Who am I? Who are the ghosts? Why they're here?; Had a hard time figuring out whether it was a cat or dog chasing after me after I took the disk. That's all for now.
