About
Angel Engine is a horror surgery simulator that explores a missing chapter of the Angel Engine series. Nuclear fire burned the skies long ago, leaving behind a world of ash -- but the Second Tower of Babel still stands. Join a crew of scientists in their effort to save the human species from damnation. But remember: there are no heroes here.
Step into the Babel 2 Scientific Research Center as its newest employee. Your job is simple: correct deformities on test subjects and only ask acceptable questions. You're doing God's work.
From the safety of your operating room, use your mechanical arm to treat your patients while fending off demons, servicing faulty equipment, and keeping the Angel Engine operational. Every operation adds a new layer of complexity, and the clock is always ticking; don't let your patient wake up.

Saw this game after stumbling on some Angel Engine horror short clips on IG. Those videos about the angel storyline were absolutely stunning and creepy, so I got super interested and decided to check it out. This game is pretty repetitive tbh, but the oppressive atmosphere is straight-up chef’s kiss. The whole vibe is dark, claustrophobic and depressing in the best way — you’re trapped in this cold, rusty futuristic lab with flickering lights and distant metallic groans echoing everywhere. The surgery parts are wild. The sound design is insane — those wet squelching noises, the unnatural angelic breathing that slowly turns ragged, and the heart monitors gradually going crazy had me getting more and more anxious. I ended up injecting the paralytic way earlier than I needed to every single time lol But holy shi, when the angel actually wakes up and kills you… that jump scare is brutal. Scared the hell out of me. After that, every time I saw the angel starting to stir, I immediately slammed the abort surgery button xd. Too scared to keep going. Pro tip: turn the game volume down a bit, those jump scare sounds hit way too hard and I was genuinely worried about heart attack xD I really appreciate this kind of high-tension horror game though. It keeps you feeling anxious and uneasy the whole time, which is exactly what I want from a good horror title. Solid 8/10 for me.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very fun and thrilling game. The reviews saying its bad jus have skill issues. If you're bad with time management and unable to keep up with multiple tasks at once you're going to have a bad time. I love the minigames and pressure you feel from trying to keep yourself alive.
If the music box from FNAF 2 was a game, tedious and obnoxious and even when you do everything right you still fail (???) I had everything foxed and the power box was blessed so the power would not turn off but after completing the correct minigame I was killed, the reason why I'm mentioning the power box is because the death animation I got was the one you get for not getting the power on In time.
stress simulator
It's basically a FNAF adaptation, boring, repetitive and relying solely on jump scares. Dull.
Failed mini-games and got killed even though I had blatantly completed them correctly and in the right order. This happened 3 times in the first 15 minutes of gameplay. Refunded.
ENG
💉 From Analog Horror to a Masterpiece of Tension! (8.5/10)
Angel Engine is one of the most imaginative and original games I have played recently. If you are looking for a horror game that doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares, but rather on a thick, deeply unsettling atmosphere—this is exactly it. ⚙️ Multitasking That Keeps You on Edge What truly sets this game apart is its core mechanics. You aren't just doing surgeries here. During each procedure, you constantly have to deal with other surrounding machines breaking down. Because of this, the gameplay demands intense multitasking. To even succeed at the surgery, you must constantly put out smaller fires and keep the entire environment under control. This makes the game exceptionally engaging and satisfyingly difficult. 🎨 A Visual and Narrative Triumph

The Art Style: It looks absolutely stunning. The gritty, retro-analog style perfectly captures the vibe of the internet analog horror universe the game is based on.
The Story and Lore: The concept of the Second Tower of Babel and the slow realization of the truth behind the imprisoned angel keep you hooked throughout.
The Final Plot Twist: The ending completely flips everything you thought you knew on its head. The final lines on the screen will literally make you drop your jaw. It leaves you staring at the screen in absolute shock.
Verdict: A solid 8 or 8.5 out of 10. An original, dark, and deeply satisfying production. Don't skip the credits—just play it and experience the mystery for yourself!
The absolute biggest plot twist of this game actually happens in the credits. Even though Angel Engine was officially released by US-based studios, Polish developers were actually responsible for about 90% of the game's actual technical and artistic production! Our devs did a phenomenal job turning an internet series into a flawless, atmospheric masterpiece. Hats off, Polish game dev is elite!

PL
💉 Od analogowego horroru do arcydzieła napięcia! (8.5/10)
Angel Engine to jedna z najbardziej pomysłowych i oryginalnych gier, w jakie grałem w ostatnim czasie. Aby w ogóle ukończyć operację, trzeba cały czas gasić mniejsze pożary i kontrolować całe otoczenie. 🎨 Wizualny i fabularny majstersztyk

Styl graficzny: Wygląda to obłędnie. Brudny, retro-analogowy styl idealnie oddaje klimat internetowego uniwersum analog horroru, na którym bazuje gra.
Fabuła i lore: Projekt Drugiej Wieży Babel i powolne odkrywanie prawdy o uwięzionym aniele trzymają w napięciu przez całą rozgrywkę.
Finałowe Zaskoczenie: Zakończenie dosłownie wywraca wszystko do góry nogami.
Oryginalna, mroczna i piekielnie satysfakcjonująca produkcja.
Choć Angel Engine oficjalnie wyszło spod szyldu studiów z USA, to za jakieś 90% faktycznej produkcji technicznej i artystycznej stoją polscy deweloperzy! Nasi rodacy wykonali kawał genialnej roboty, zamieniając internetowy serial w działające bez zarzutu, klimatyczne arcydzieło. Czapki z głów, polski gamedev to elita!
