Andromeda One looks to be a very unfinished game. When you spawn, there a few guys standing around, not doing anything (not sure what their purpose is). You can pick up either a bow or a pistol (you can come back and swap one for the other one, if you want). When you go over the rise, there is a single tribal warrior to fight (the artwork on the warrior is quite good), followed by two warriors of the same mould - all three are very easy to kill. Then there is a modern warrior, who shoots at you - he is easy enough to kill (especially if you shoot him from a distance). After those four warriors, there's a button on a stand to push, to load the next level - but there is no next level, so the game takes you back to the main menu instead. Even the "About" link takes you to a blank page (well, ok, it has a link which says "back" on it, so technically it's not actually blank). I'm guessing that this is someone's early attempt at making a game. This so-called game is seriously incomplete, and shouldn't have been loaded to Steam in this condition. When you start up Andromeda One, a screen loads with the words "Insert your own logo here", so that's a clear indication that this game is very unfinished. Don't bother downloading Andromeda One - there's just no point. Note to the developer: I would highly recommend that you work on this game a lot more before releasing it to the public.

blood when ennemy killed. perfact
It's a game without fun. The game has only one level and the enemies are too weak. It's just a waste of time. It only takes less than 3 minutes for you to pass the whole game. -------------------------------------------------- Manual achievement: 0/0
Overview:
'Andromeda One' is a first person shooter where you play as an unnamed individual thrown into an endless flatland of grass with only a few buildings standing in a rather linear layout. The game itself is extremely short at under 10 minutes of total gameplay and lacks so much content that it honestly feels more like a demo that only really exists for the sole purpose of a student in game development showing that they can apply their knowledge of basic game creation. Even the "About" option in the game contains nothing so the plot seemingly doesn't exist until you read the synopsis on the store page. The developer even failed to put the plot itself in the game but after playing the game, I'm not surprised. So you play as a hero in the military that's trying to bring order to the Andromeda Galaxy. That is if the Andromeda Galaxy is an infinite grassy field with numerous buildings and enemies compressed within one area. The game also states that it's open-world but I don't think being able to run through a flat and empty plain can be considered "open-world". More like open field. 'Andromeda One' can barely be called a game because it's like an unfinished mess that was abandoned the moment development started. Even the video on the store page doesn't accurately represent the game you actually play.
Gameplay:
With less than 10 minutes of total gameplay, you can imagine there isn't much to really do in the game. You basically move forward, collect some weapons such as guns and a bow and arrow and progressively engage in combat with an enemy or two until you eventually reach the end. There are a few enemy types with two of them being melee while the last two being ranged. The melee foes are extremely easy to beat but the ones with guns can be a bit challenging if you're not at least a little careful. They deal tremendous amounts of damage and can actually kill you pretty quickly but luckily, there's health and ammo at each building you pass by and you'll always have enough health and ammo to fight everyone without having too much trouble. Once you reach the end, you press a button which prompts up a blank screen with a continue button where I assume text was supposed to be put in and then
[strike]load into the next level[/strike]
get booted back to the main menu. Yes, that's it. Not even a second level was created, it's quite literally just this one lazy map and that's it. The Andromeda Galaxy is a lot smaller than I anticipated. If this was the galaxy I was supposed to save, I should've just let it die. All jokes aside though, 'Andromeda One' is one of many bad first person shooters that litters Steam but is somehow even worse than many of the other ones.
Controls:
Move and shoot, what more could you ask for. Jumping and crouching is also standard in the game but the game is so flat and short that you honestly don't need to do either of these actions. Aside from that the game at least plays and functions properly and the accuracy system isn't a load of whale poop like it is in many other games of similar fashion. Control settings aren't available but for a game like this, you don't even need it.
Graphics:
Imagine having a complete asset pack at your fingertips to be used in your game but only using a handful of them and don't even blend them well together. All the enemies don't even look like they belong in the game's environment but at the same time, what would fit in in a world like this? The textures, models and basically everything in the game was ripped straight out of asset packs and quite literally looks like your typical compilation of Unity crap. Surprisingly, there are graphic options but I'm sure any computer is capable of running this practically empty game.
Audio:
The same amount of effort put into the game as a whole was also put in the audio. Sound effects are once again, stock sounds from asset packs and main menu music screams Unity and is also nonexistent in-game. There's nothing special about it and I guarantee over a thousand other games use these exact same sound effects and music.
Conclusion/TL;DR:
'Andromeda One' is an extremely short and empty first person shooter that consists only of one level that spans about 5 minutes. Pick up a handful of weapons while fighting through a linear path with about 12 enemies. This is the entire game and it isn't good to say the least. It acts more like the first step of a project a student in game development is working on yet it's released as if it's a complete piece. Despite being free, 'Andromeda One' just isn't something I would recommend playing simply because there's almost nothing here to even play.
mass murder
