About

You are a reverend, sent into a dilapidated basement to perform an exorcism on a victim named Erin, who has been bound to a chair. Using tools of faith you must force it to leave her body.
During the exorcism, you will have conversations with both the demon and, when it allows her to speak, Erin herself. Through these dialogues and by solving puzzles in the environment, you will work to uncover the mystery of how the demon was summoned and why it has attached itself to her.
Your goal is to piece together these clues to discover the demon's true name and learn the method to banish it from Erin for good.

I loved it. The dev fixed the issue with the crashing pretty quick. Solid game.
Годная, но жаль, что короткая игра. Неплохие скримеры, крутые головоломки. За час/два игра проходится и скучать всё это время - не приходится.
Spent all this time playing the game only for the exorcism to bug and kick me out... The game also bugged out not letting me into the spare room once I got the blue key. It was as I never had the key and was soft locked without even knowing it. On top of that, there is no option to save so I am forced to start the game all over. I'll change my vote if this gets fixed but for now, I can't recommend this game. Looks good, no clear direction on what to do, repetitive jump scares, and buggy. Looking forward to seeing how the game progresses.
I thought it was great, the puzzles were good and the jumpscares got me a couple times.
**CONTAINS SPOILERS** The game was enjoyable, although I don't understand why the "questline" gave you information about different demons / names, but the exorcism seemed very straightforward, IE burning the skull, and then still being possessed at the end? Doesn't make sense when the only item available to destroy was the skull. Incense seemed to serve no purpose. Other than being mentioned on the painting to burn Gold Incencse and do the Exorcism, the blue to "calm the Demon" yet when i used blue, it was getting angry with me. Unknown what use the white incense was for. The idea is good, basically Phasmaphobia but localised to one building / basement. Would have been good for more jump scares. not the same repeated figure / face on the screen, which only seemed to activate the scare when you looked away from the figure. Ambient sound were good, Overall I feel more could be done for a better Exorcism experience, but it was fun and different to play
Honestly would not recommend. Puzzles are a bit too cryptic and once you narrow down the demon (1 out of 3 for me since i got marquess) its just a guessing game of "okay did they play with lights a bunch or is that normal?"
The idea is there! the graphics, the sound and the scares are all fantastic, however the objectives are not very clear at all, the puzzles become tedious and annoying, and what could be a great game with plenty of flavour just becomes a chore.
You can watch my full gameplay here: https://youtu.be/ruHG7Hdb1G0 + The game concept and the whole idea are great, but the execution could be a bit better. I dig the vibe and the idea that you have to perform the exorcism from start to finish, and that many entities can possess our subject on top of that! - However, when you start, everything is very confusing, and even at the end. I had some trouble solving the last puzzle. A small tutorial could be useful before we start. [ ] Adding different jumpscares and more interactions with the entity would be a plus! Overall a big potential and room to expand this game into more possession cases to solve.
I liked this game a lot. An Exorcism is a great scary puzzle game with a challenging level of difficulty. The puzzles are relatively simple in concept, but non-obvious. Figuring them out is is really satisfying. There's a tense and stressful ambience that keeps you waiting for the next scare the whole time. Authogin has been very responsive and fixed issues quickly when they came up. I'm a huge fan of his obtuse puzzles and excellent atmosphere development.
