Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
I have never given a 1/10 rating on Steam before. However, there's a first time for everything and this "game" deserves a vicious beatdown into All Negative Review Rating and banishment from Steam. So what makes this game so horrible? Does it crash? No, it runs smoothly. Are the graphics horrible? No the artwork is actually nice, I liked the graphics. It's everything else that is wrong with the game. It's not even a game. It's a con. The main purpose of this Free to Play game is to get you to buy coins with real cash money. This is not the first F2P game to try to do that, it's just that it's so plainly obvious that's what they are doing here. They don't even really have a free to play game. So you're in some kind of submarine or contraption. You have these two upgradeable guns. You shoot behind a glass window ... I mean I can forgive that leap in logic. But then you're just simply shooting fish in a barrel ... an aquarium barrel. They just swim all around this aquarium, entering and exiting so you can shoot them down. Do they fight back? Nope. Are you in any danger? Nope. See the game is that you run out of coins if you're not accurate with a gun. Okay, but if you're accurate you don't need to worry about it, right? Wrong. You'll run out of bullets no matter what. It's almost impossible to tell when you've hit a target. It's easy to double tap a target because you don't know if you hit it. The only tell is that coins come out. That's really the only time you can tell you hit the target. But there's several targets around that look just like the target you just hit, so you can't tell which one. So when you shoot again, you'll get nothing but you will lose coins. Bigger targets require more shots. That's how I ran out of coins. Did I have any fun? No. There was no challenge other than trying to guess if I'd run out of coins by shooting or not. I ended up running out of coins anyways. It's an endless wave shooter. There's a timer that goes down to zero, but then the timer just restarts again. You can upgrade your gun, but that will just lead to more coins being wasted. I didn't even notice the upgrades that I put on my gun. They put this big basket in front of you so you can continue playing. Pay to get more coins, to keep shooting fish in a barrel. Zynga would be proud of these guys. Rate 1/10. This is worse than any mobile pay to win game that I have ever experienced, congrats guys!

It's a fantastic game! For the first 3 minutes, I was losing money and feeling a bit bored. When I put the gun back and want to close the game, I found that I can equip the gun with accessories, and once the skill is fully finished, it is so cool. Using skills in small fish-intensive places can win thousands of of gold coins at a time. 20 minutes later, I found the real trick. The guns can be graded, and high level of firepower make you easily capture fish. But! Do not use a high level!!! You will lose!!! With low grade to small fish dense place dozen, basically is steady earn, high grade to keep to do task! Out of some difficult task, such as turtle, adjust to 30 or 50, fire one by one, until the task is completed, steady earning! What you can't miss is the tide of fish. There are many kinds of fish tide, if it is a lot of small fish fish tide, do not miss. Attack with your minimum firepower and skill! Be sure to use your skills in the most intensive places! The Best once, a gun made 7000! There are 70000 gold coins already. Tomorrow's target is 100000!
游戏有bug,一进去就提示没有连接网络。开玩笑。没连接网络我怎么登陆的steam。
Amigo Fishing is a VR game. It sort of worked on my system. Was able to load into the lobby, where there is a sound control window, Store window, Language selection window and a window with buttons saying Fraction. I pressed the 10 Fraction button then there is big screen with a loading circle that never quit. There was no instructions, tutorial, or help. Don't bother downloading this game.

I've not felt the need to write many reviews, but this game is such a wasted opportunity that it needs a suitable epitaph. Before I start, there's no point installing this game as of January 2020 as it will not allow the game to proceed further than the menu because of a "login failed" message, which I assume is the developer borking the game so it can no longer be played. Anyway, when this game did work I classed it as one of my favourite casual VR games on Steam. You are in a cockpit armed with a couple of guns on the ocean floor. You have to shoot the fish and gain coins depending on the type of fish you kill, ranging from guppys to sharks. Each shot costs coins (you can alter the amount of coins per shot) so there's a risk that you run out of coins - and here's the freemium mechanic at work - and you can buy more coins with real money. After a good ten or fifteen minutes a "boss" will appear, which could be a gigantic school of fish or a massive whale flanked by smaller whales. Sometimes a treasure chest will appear that you can shoot and gain thousands of coins, and you can upgrade your guns and special weapons by collecting salvage. This explanation is from my experience playing the game as there are no instructions on how the game works. This may be important later on. The graphics are great, sound effects are satisfactory, and the game itself WAS pretty good. Like I said earlier though, it was the casual aspect of this game which was the real draw, and I spent quit a lot of time playing it. There are two fundamental problems with this game that (without knowing why this game's been abandoned) probably killed it: 1. Buying coins. VR isn't that kind of environment where you'd pump microtransactions into a game all the time. I for one did not buy any coins as I conserved ammo and took advantage of the treasure chests when they appeared. This method does prevent the game being properly enjoyed though, but the next point really stops anyone from investing into the game. 2. Random fish hits. So like I said earlier, there are no clear instructions on how to play the game, each shot costs coins, and you can change the amount of coins each shot costs. Each time a fish dies you get coins, so you will pick your targets to maximise the amount of coins you'll receive. Without instructions I have to guess how all of this ties together, and you'd be forgiven for thinking that each fish has "life", and each shot takes away life based on the strength (i.e. coins) that each shot costs. More coins per shot, more damage, right? Who knows? You'll kill a shark with 10 shots, then kill the next shark with 1. Small fish become bullet-sponges, and whales keel over with the slightest mention of being shot. The best method of success I've had is by aiming for the underbelly or head of a fish if it refuses to die, which kinda works but makes the game incomprehensible in its mechanics. This may be the game trying to run out your coins to force you to buy more, but it is so random that you dare not spend money on it as you feel like you'd spend a couple of quid taking down a clown fish if the game want you to. Developers, if you're reading this and the game has died because of these reasons, please do us and yourselves a favour; sort out the mechanics so that each shot does a set amount of damage, sort out the fish so they will die in a predictable manner, remove the freemium coins, and charge £6-£10 for the game. Some instructions would probably help too.
I shot a school of fish with pistols for a while and then I hit an unmarked button and the game crashed. It's great! Nothing is labeled, everything costs fishbucks and the gameplay is ... inexplicable.
Amigo Fishing. Where do I begin... As you know I have been fishing professionally since I was 11 years old, and let me tell you.... This game is THE most, realistic game I have ever played. I feel like I'm right there in the trenches, just like when I won my first tournament at 12, wind blowing in my ears, fishing rod vr mod in my hand, this game is by far the best fishing technology I have ever witnessed. Believe it or not I plan on organizing tournaments on Amigo Fishing and retiring from the real world fishing. This is cash free(Besides the dlc 300$ rod I bought ;) +bait) and can really help people of old age such as myself get back into the fishing game. These young kids can see my old school fishing experience through this game and that makes me happy. Anyways if you want to add me(or maybe date me I'm kind of lonely) my in game name is fisher12inchersince1955. Please add me . please
