Amber

Amber is a solodev passion project created over four years with a budget of $0, and I must commend Gouache Airship for putting in that hard work to create something entirely from scratch. It pains me to have to leave a negative review knowing how much blood, sweat and tears went into creating this game. Toning down the game's post-processing effects and fixing the auto-saves would improve the game a great deal. Post-processing effects appear to be applied multiple times and brings the Amber to a crawl even on Low on my 4070ti. Auto-saves would place me in a perpetual state of death, or respawn me inside of a wall completely stuck and unable to move. Fixing these issues are the very first things that need to be done to begin tapping into the incredible amount of potential that Amber has. If you're a fan of Egg-Likes, or the weirder side of Steam's kusoge like Candice DeBeBe, Goblin America or Yohjo Simulator, you WILL find something to love about Amber. Grab it on sale. Controles iguais à Mineirinho. Pesado que nem Garten of Banban. Preço de um AAA. A única diferença que é *jogável*. E é mais divertido que muito jogo do mesmo preço. É LITERALMENTE MINEIRINHO mas tem savestate pra você não precisar voltar do início. Eu vou dar um thumbs up porque não quero machucar jogo indie sem motivo, mas não recomendo comprar de jeito nenhum pelo preço integral no Brasil. R$88,99 é preço de fazer o mercado da semana inteira. Se fosse 2,99 eu recomendaria sem pensar duas vezes. HEY DEV, PLEASE lower the price for Brazil!! This pricing is insane, it's practically a week or two worth of groceries in here, very few of us have that kind of money to spend on indie games. We are a developing country after all. Consider lowering it to the point it becomes so cheap everyone can buy and stream it on their own, like the way it happened with a game called "Mineirinho Director's Cut". Everyone I know have seen it, played it or heard of it, and the dev did earn a lot of money just from the sheer amount of sales, even if it's a very cheap game. Your game has the kind of humour Mineirinho has, but IT IS JUST BETTER. IT'S ACTUALLY FUN.

I thought Amber would be a good game visually and gameplay wise. Boy was i wrong! The art looks like a beginner's Blender project while the jumping is too floaty. I wish the hammer would at least swing when you attack but it does not. I'm glad i got a key for the game because $30 dollars does not seem worth it. I'd buy it for $3 at most 0/10 Edit: At the time of this review it was 31 dollars but i still wouldnt buy it for the amount currently. Currently being 15 dollars

An ambitious platformer made by a solo dev, with a decent ost, art direction and bright thematic world. To my surprise the platforming was tight for the majority of the play through. Though there are some cons you would expect from a solo dev team, like poor optimization, missing animations and an unpolished presentation. The price is also a little steep for how much content you're getting here. I was able to finish this in one sitting. My hope is the dev takes what we learned here and improve on the formula for future endeavors.

Armado con un Mazo, un Bastón de Chocolate, y una Varita de Chicle, tu objetivo es restaurar la armonía y ayudar a los habitantes de estos coloridos mundos. Amber se destaca por su estilo visual colorido y caricaturesco, y su jugabilidad mezcla plataformas y acción-aventura de manera accesible y entretenida. Cada reino presenta desafíos únicos y un enfoque en la resolución de puzzles ligeros y combates básicos. La mecánica de juego es fluida, con movimientos que incluyen correr, saltar, deslizarse y hasta nadar en aguas cristalinas o chocolateadas, ofreciendo una variedad de experiencias. Aunque no es un título que rompa moldes, es una experiencia entretenida y accesible, especialmente para aquellos que buscan algo ligero y visualmente atractivo.

Если бы в игре не было на столько кислотной расцветки, то может быть игра была и нормальной. Но это еще и платформер, и довольно сложный. Не советую.
