Amazing Trivia? More like Somewhat Okay Trivia.
Amazing Trivia, developed and published by Vladimir Maslov, is a casual quiz game designed to test players’ general knowledge across a wide range of topics in a relaxed and accessible format. Rather than aiming for spectacle or competitive depth, the game positions itself as a light educational experience, inviting players to answer multiple-choice questions that span everyday facts, classic trivia staples, and occasionally more obscure bits of information. Its overall design reflects its indie roots, focusing on simplicity, clarity, and ease of use rather than elaborate presentation or complex systems. The core gameplay is built around straightforward question-and-answer rounds. Players are presented with a question and a set of possible answers, selecting the one they believe is correct. Topics vary broadly and can include areas such as geography, history, science, animals, abbreviations, and general knowledge that many players may recognize from traditional quiz shows or trivia nights. This variety is one of the game’s strengths, as it prevents the experience from feeling too narrowly focused and allows players with different interests or strengths to find moments where they can excel. The pacing of Amazing Trivia is calm and unhurried. There is no heavy pressure to respond instantly, which makes the game approachable for players of all ages and skill levels. This relaxed structure encourages thoughtful consideration rather than reflex-based responses, reinforcing the educational aspect of the experience. Correct answers provide a sense of satisfaction, while incorrect ones often prompt curiosity and learning, as players become aware of facts they may not have known before. Visually, the game adopts a minimalist presentation. The interface is clean and functional, keeping distractions to a minimum so that attention remains on the questions themselves. There are no elaborate animations or flashy transitions; instead, the design emphasizes readability and straightforward navigation. This simplicity may feel basic to some players, but it aligns well with the game’s purpose as a knowledge-based quiz rather than a visually driven experience. Sound design plays a subtle supporting role. A light, melodic soundtrack accompanies gameplay, adding a pleasant background atmosphere without overwhelming concentration. Audio cues are minimal, reinforcing the idea that Amazing Trivia is meant to be a calm and mentally engaging activity rather than an intense or competitive one. The overall sensory presentation supports short, casual play sessions where players can dip in and out without fatigue. Replay value is largely tied to the breadth of the question pool and the player’s own desire to test or improve their knowledge. For newcomers, the variety of questions can feel engaging and educational, but over time repetition may become noticeable once familiar questions reappear. The inclusion of Steam achievements provides an additional incentive to keep playing, particularly for completionists who enjoy unlocking milestones, but there are no major progression systems or content expansions to significantly alter the experience over long periods. Technically, Amazing Trivia is stable and accessible. It runs smoothly on a range of systems and supports multiple operating systems, reflecting its lightweight nature. Controls are intuitive, working well with keyboard, mouse, or partial controller support. These aspects make it easy to recommend as a low-barrier game that can be enjoyed without technical complications. Overall, Amazing Trivia succeeds in delivering exactly what its title suggests: a simple and engaging trivia experience aimed at casual play and general knowledge enjoyment. It does not attempt to reinvent the quiz genre or compete with large-scale trivia platforms, but instead offers a modest, approachable alternative for players who enjoy testing their knowledge in a low-pressure environment. For those seeking a relaxed educational game to fill short breaks or complement other, more demanding titles, Amazing Trivia provides a pleasant and straightforward way to challenge the mind.
OK simple quiz game

What this game is:
This is a quiz game where you will answer questions by selecting one answer in a multiple choices answer set-up (three choices per question).
How does it work?
You must answer five series of quiz questions categorized as: Animals, People, Science, History, Tech. You get three choices per quiz. Each topic offers three difficulty levels of 10 questions each: Easy, Medium and Hard. This means the game contains 150 questions. By completing all series, you complete the game.
How does it perform?
Easy to play, you click on your choice of answer and then proceed to the next question. You are informed if you chose right or wrong, but cannot redo the question, you will have to do the whole set of questions anew to to it again. There is a time limit . You can expect from 45 to 60 minutes of play maximum.
The good points:
Simple, efficient and easy game. There are no apparent bugs that I could see. The music is ok, graphics are simple with nice background images. This is an easy game that has some educational value. It has 15 achievements that are easy to get, you merely need to answer successfully all quizzes. It takes around 370 MB on your HD, and will run on a 10 years old PC with integrated graphics.
The bad points:
The game is short. The music is extremely repetitive, some people might find it ennoying. Fortunately, there is the option in the settings to shut it off. The only other option shown in the settings is Text Speed, which doesn't do anything obvious. I suppose it will change the speed at which you must answer each question, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference. Some questions are out of synch with the present time, for instance, the question "Who was the last king of England" has as an answer "George VI", which was true as long as Queen Elisabeth II was the reigning monarch. Now, of course, England has a new king: Charles III.
My take on this:
This is an OK quiz game. Recommended for casual players, people looking for a simple game/time killer, and people that love easy achievements. The game is cheap by default and can be found from time to time sold at a discount. For the price that is asked of it, and the educational value it has, I believe I can still recommend it.

Solid trivia game with a very generous method to earn achievements. I also learned a few new things, and being able to freely re-take parts of the trivia quizzes (separated into Easy, Medium, and Hard) was nice. This was a pleasant gaming experience, and honestly if I spaced out my visits to this game, I could get a mild amount of enjoyment for 1 hour. 4/5 would recommend, it's a very basic trivia game but it has a nice variety. Achievements look very nice, too.
