About
🌟 The truly epic sequel 'Iridescence' is out now!! 🌟

THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL VISUAL NOVEL. Always The Same Blue Sky approaches the medium from a fresh new angle, a gripping tale with no filler, no pretence. Complemented by breath-taking artwork and an addictive soundtrack, you can't afford to miss this amalgamation of young talent!
You play as a thoughtful young soul, bumbling your way through late adolescence; you've been through a lot for your age and consequently are a little numb. This is why you don't bat an eyelid when, out of the blue, you're transferred to yet another school, in yet another remote location. Little do you know that this small island is nothing like the others, that the events that occur on it will change everything.
In an already niche genre of storytelling, Always The Same Blue Sky stands out as a truly unique seaside adventure; a timeless tale of love, mystery and humanity.

anime görsel hikaye dili biraz ağır geldi ama konusu tutmadı beni sürükleyici bulamadım
My favourite visual novel.First discover the treasure in android.Merely see such kind of character,i fell in love of Kira when i firstly glance to her.I have to admit that Kira is the best blonde i have ever saw.Enjoy the romance you cant find anywhere else.
Two Different Worlds
Always The Same Blue Sky... is a short visual about two very different people, trying to make sense of a senseless world. The story has a few choices, which can either lead you to the bad or "good" ending. The CGs are decent quality, I'm definitely a fan of Kira's design, and the world that has been created, with the milkshake bar with the ocean view, and a couple other special locations. The music definitely helps with the atmosphere, giving it a much needed, tropical, island feel, far from home. Overall, for the cheap price, I'd definitely recommend it. Just don't expect a world shattering experience, though it's definitely a good read.
Oh man, what can I say. This VN has really original art style, short and sweet story with a mystery. It is one of the games that I'm glad I got. If you like such stories, I highly recommend.
Always The Same Blue Sky is a story-driven visual novel that demonstrates how a relatively short experience can still leave a lasting emotional impression. Created and published by NeoNight, the game centers on character relationships, self-discovery, and the lingering effects of emotional trauma rather than relying on constant plot twists or elaborate gameplay systems. It embraces a quieter style of storytelling, allowing conversations and personal moments to gradually build an engaging narrative. While many visual novels stretch their content with repetitive dialogue and numerous branching routes, this title instead focuses on delivering a carefully paced journey that remains engaging from beginning to end. The narrative follows a young student whose difficult past has left them emotionally distant from the world around them. After transferring once again, they arrive on a peaceful island where life initially appears calm and ordinary. However, beneath the tranquil setting lies a collection of mysteries waiting to be uncovered. As the protagonist grows closer to the people around them, the story explores themes of trust, friendship, acceptance, and the process of overcoming painful memories. The island serves as more than just scenery, becoming an essential part of the story's atmosphere while gradually revealing secrets that reshape the player's understanding of both the setting and its inhabitants. One of the game's greatest strengths is its storytelling philosophy. Rather than overwhelming players with endless dialogue or unnecessary diversions, every chapter contributes to either character development or the unfolding mystery. The pacing rarely feels sluggish, allowing emotional moments to arrive naturally without overstaying their welcome. Choices made throughout the adventure influence how relationships evolve and determine which of the multiple endings players ultimately receive. Although the branching paths are not as extensive as those found in some larger visual novels, they provide enough variety to encourage replaying the story while maintaining a focused narrative structure. The cast is another highlight of the experience. Each major character possesses distinct personalities, motivations, and emotional struggles that gradually emerge through conversations and shared experiences. Their interactions with the protagonist feel believable, making the relationships develop at a comfortable pace instead of forcing instant emotional attachments. The writing pays careful attention to themes of loneliness, hope, and personal growth, creating moments that feel sincere rather than melodramatic. Even when the plot introduces supernatural or mysterious elements, the emotional core remains grounded in the characters themselves. Artistically, Always The Same Blue Sky presents an appealing visual style that complements its reflective tone. The island environment is filled with attractive backgrounds featuring blue skies, coastlines, classrooms, and peaceful outdoor locations that reinforce both the beauty and isolation of the setting. Character illustrations effectively convey subtle emotions through facial expressions and body language, allowing dramatic scenes to carry greater emotional weight. While the production values naturally reflect its independent development, the artwork consistently succeeds in establishing a relaxing atmosphere that fits the game's contemplative nature. The soundtrack further strengthens the overall presentation with gentle piano melodies and ambient compositions that accompany the story without distracting from it. The music shifts appropriately between peaceful, emotional, and suspenseful moments, helping each scene maintain its intended mood. Sound and visuals work together to create an immersive experience where the atmosphere becomes just as important as the dialogue itself, making even quiet conversations memorable. Although the game offers a rewarding narrative, it may not appeal equally to every audience. Players seeking complex gameplay mechanics, extensive interaction, or dozens of branching storylines may find the experience relatively straightforward. The concise runtime also means some secondary characters and supporting plot points could have benefited from additional development. Nevertheless, these limitations stem from the game's commitment to delivering a focused and carefully paced story instead of artificially extending its length. Overall, Always The Same Blue Sky succeeds as an emotionally engaging visual novel that values quality storytelling over unnecessary complexity. Its memorable cast, meaningful themes, attractive artwork, and atmospheric soundtrack combine to create an experience that feels heartfelt from beginning to end. The game proves that a shorter narrative can still deliver satisfying character development and compelling mysteries when supported by confident writing and thoughtful presentation. For fans of visual novels that emphasize emotion, introspection, and mystery within a beautifully realized setting, this is an enjoyable and worthwhile journey. Rating: 7/10
