Early access review - This amazing shooter has enormous potential, i was impressed from the moment i spawned inside a command post, the controls are similar to others i wont need to mention, it moves well and the weapons feel good, having to keep a grip on the knife is familiar lol. The one thing that really stands out are the rich colours and the quick night vision mode. I would recommend this game in early access as i see this one being massive.
Well this is one of those failed games. The worst is that the game works very fluid and has some good looks, but the problem is that nobody plays it, and the promised Single Player part is only one map that showed great ideas but it was never finished. The idea of the Single Player part was for example that you have to reach a Code-Locked Gate. So first you need to reach the location where to find the code and infiltrate using a similar to "Pavlov VR" experience + Bots. Average Bots but they worked. If you found the code, you could open the gate and reach a later part of the level with some checkpoints to fullfil. The problem is that right NOW the code of the first part that was supposed to be written in a paper is not there anymore and the gate doesn't open at all so basically you are stuck. Asked the dev about this problem in the forums, no replies or fixes whatsoever. I have the Dev added as a friend on Steam, so I tried to ask 2 times, no answer. He just disconnects. I'm not going to ask anymore and decided to express a review for other players and warn them. Also I will remove the dev from my list :) So, to resume it, good looking, promising levels, but no one plays multiplayer. Single Player was abandoned and now is an incomplete level. You could still enjoy offline against bots in multiplayer maps. If you are ok with that try it at least for the initial 2 hours REFUND limit if not you are warned. Here is a video if you want to have an idea the visual aspect of the game: https://youtu.be/DBq1jTQ8nlc Is not the latest build of the game, but is the one where Single Player Campaign was actually working before it got broken as explained. If you play the game now, you cannot open the gate that I open there in the video. Ironic.
Game doesn't work. Can enter menu but only hear the shooting sound effect when trying to load a game.
So when I try and start a game, it wont let me. The menu is completely unresponive. Ive had this game since Febuary and Ive played maybe 15minutes of it. The rest of the time was sitting in the menu staring at the wall. Ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it to see if that helped and it did not. I just want this thing to work on my Oculus or my money back please.
Had this a couple of days now on oculus but still haven't figured out how to start the game.Wont even let me host.Anybody else having trouble Join the club.had it from day one and managed to play it a couple of times and its a good game but........cant start a game for some reason
How to fix bugs on Oculus Touch and maybe some solutions on HTC Vive
So I really like this game. It reminds me a lot of BAM and Pavlov, only it's better in some ways (and worse in others). I love the graphics in this game and the maps in this game. It's definitely inspired by BLOPS 2 and that's a great thing if you are into arcade, fast-paced multiplayer action. There's even a single-player campaign that is actually pretty tough. The enemy AI on easy is not the best, but on hard it gives you quite the challenge to be fast and accurate with your headshots. All the guns are different, feel different, look different and play different. Anyways, this game just needs more players. I was actually able to find a MP game, but that only happened twice after several attempts. And the most we ever had was 4 people. Usually, there are no players in the lobby. There are several options that you have to understand before you start playing. Anyways, I like this game and I recommend you buy it. Just beware you'll mostly be playing against bots and trying to get past the single-player campaign.
Problem #1: How to Reload
I was having lots of problems reloading and I couldn't understand why it was so inconsistent. I thought it was poor tracking or poor design. Then I figured what the game wants you to do. You have to press grab and then trigger to take out the mag from gun (then toss it away). Then press grab and then trigger to pick up a new mag from your chest and put it approximately where the mag would fit on your gun, then release. After doing that, reloading is easy. And yes, you get unlimited ammo to play with, so if you're OCD you'll be reloading after every engagement.
Problem #2: Game won't start, tutorial won't start, firing range won't start, can't join a game
So I was having lots of problems trying to host a game after messing around with trying to start the tutorial. I tried restarting the game and sometimes it would work and sometimes nothing would work. I finally figured out the problem. When you set your region to Auto, it gives you problems selecting modes from the menu. The way I was able to host games or get into the tutorial or get into the firing range or get into the single player campaign, is to select your region with less ping (for me it was USA east region). After doing that, I had no more problems. Or alternatively, just change regions until your game mode starts.
Settings + Singe Player Campaign
Just press Y on your controller, Then go to the setting you want to change and press grab and trigger. I personally changed setting to walk the fastest speed. I also changed setting to public. I also changed settings to hard difficulty for bots. To start the single player campaign, you have to go to the right map to initiate the single player. You have 30 lives and have to follow the instructions to advance to the next level. Basically, you find a key code and open the door. But the AI enemies are tough, they do respawn after a while, and unfortunately, sometimes enemies get stuck behind walls and shoot you through them, so it's really difficult to kill them when they are hard to see. I died 30 times and didn't get past the 1st level :(
Final Verdict
[b] If this game had a player base like Onward, I would rather play this game than BAM, Pavlov, Stand Out, or Onward. It's that much fun when it is working properly. I hope the game gets patched up and the player base increases. I only paid $8 for this game and already feel I got my money's worth.
It’s just not for me. It’s not the best looking game. It’s just too arcade oriented for me which I would overlook if the graphics where better.
Game looks fun but when I spawn I can't walk. I'm using touch control's and it's like my feet are glued to the ground.
nobody,s playing this game nomore it should be free...I like the fact you can play riff style with the Vive(snapturning) but im not playing Bot,s..so IT<S refund Time
