。。 https://www.bilibili.com/video/av25604887

Thumbs up for the devs for making this cool little sidescroller. Controls and timing take a bit of getting used to, but the game is easy to navigate once you get used to it. The environment looks great throughout, bright and lush descending to dim and barren, with a primary melody that adds to the melancholy and eerie tone of the game. Overall, a great first offering by this group .
hard to play sorry
not gud
If you'd like to see a blind 30 minute first look at the game, you can watch my video here: https://youtu.be/9p85SJf2_l0 Alone is a game similar to Inside and Limbo. It's a platformer that you are constantly moving to the right to progress through stages of traps and puzzles. It's done in a dark style, but with more 3d to it than Inside or Limbo. All-in-all it's a good idea and it's fairly well executed. Even though the game is fairly simple and doesn't have the depth of Inside or Limbo, it still provides a very decent amount of engaging gameplay to entertain the player. THAT BEING SAID, it has some glaring flaws: 1) The controls and effects of certain things in the game are NOT clearly explained. For example you can double jump in the fireflies. WHY? WHY GAME? It doesn't make any sense, and the game doesn't explain it but it happens. 2) Some of the jumps and puzzles are really... REALLY hard to make. They for some reason made many of the puzzles almost pixel perfect and it's frustrating, not challenging. 3) Some of the mechanics don't always work nicely. For example: Jumping off the top of a ladder. It's not pretty. It doesn't work well. You'll know once you try it. Does the game have flaws? Yes. Is it still worth playing? Yes. The things that upset me are very solveable by the devs. I look forward to their progress. If you want to see if the game is for you then you can watch my video posted at the top. It's me playing blind, not knowing anything about the game. You can make a devision for yourself on whether the game is for you or not. Thanks!

The art style is great, but the controls are too loose for a platformer. This leads to more frustration than fun. Furthermore, after starting new games over and over and over in my attempt to get the final achievement, I finally managed to beat the whole game without dying, and it did not award the achievement. Tip: Hold the space bar down to prolong jumps, but if there are two or more firefly batches in a row, release the jump button before hitting the second batch or you'll lose your double jump and die. Edit: I eventually made another successful run without dying, and I did get the final achievement. Before my successful run, I completely quit the game then reopened it instead of simply selecting New Game from the main menu like I'd been doing before. I don't know if this is what made the difference or not.
