Reviews
Nothing works in this game. The difficulty is either too easy or too hard. I cant ever find more than 1 person to play with. If I find one. I cant believe they made a sequel to this mess

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I initially played this on Game Pass some years back. Heard they were doing A:FE2 and thought, "I might play it on PC with my bro once more." That is where the thought started and ended… The game is not widely played and the disconnection issues are difficult to tolerate. In the end, I stuck with my bro to play. It's a pretty enjoyable game for what it is. Missions are quick and easy if you just want some 'Aliens' fun and blast away for some nostalgia. For the sale price it is a decent pickup; full price, you have to be off your rocker. I agree with many others who have shared their opinions here. The developers have neglected this game, leaving it to decay and limiting its potential. Give this game the Aliens Dark Descent and Fireteam Elite mixture of wandering whole complexes rather than small mission structures with random things to do, and it would be golden. The story is just a parrot of what has been and what might be. The only time I feel like the marine they want me to be is when you are killing Aliens in droves; anything past that just becomes filler.
If you came for horde mode shooty shooty bang bang, you'll have fun (if you have friends). If you came for lore, you're in for a snore.
Can't wait for number 2!!
