Charming art and a funny premise helps Alien Xenoblaster stick out as a modern arcade classic that will provide both challenge and entertainment for you and some friends. Although rather short - which makes sense considering its influence - it makes up for it with gameplay that's just as quick to pick up and have fun with. If you've got a few bucks to spare, I'd recommend this.

Alien XenoBlaster is overall a fun time, simple to understand but will later on really require you to use your timing and decision making skills, especially in the challenges mode. The plot doesn't take it's self seriously and gets straight to the chase. All the pixel art and sprite work is pretty good, and the border art is just a chef's kiss. The ost is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bop and I listen to it on it's own outside the game. And i think this is my favorite part, the character designs. All the characters look unique from each other and stand out, also having characters like Peppino and Annalynn as unlockables is a nice inclusion. Tldr: I recommend it.
