Al’ulA is a first-person non-euclidean puzzle game set in a strange fractal dimension inspired by medieval Morocco. You will use an alien artefact to solve puzzles while guided by a strange alien entity.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Mariam, a Moroccan astronomer, is trapped in a realm of impossible geometry. Use your perception of space to navigate shifting staircases, twisting corridors, and non-euclidean structures where reality no longer follows the rules.
Use the Artifact to bend the world around you. Select rows of tiles and rotate them in any direction, reshaping the room itself. Twist corridors, align staircases, and rearrange the environment to reach new paths.
A mysterious Entity brought Mariam into this fractal dimension. Solve puzzle after puzzle with the Artifact, uncover fragments of Mariam’s past, and discover the truth behind this impossible place as you search for a way out.

This game has you controlling a strange alien artifact, and after you pick it up, you are put inside what seems to be the artifact itself, where you then have to start moving the walls like a Rubik's cube to make a pathway to the door. I love the concept of the game, along with its visuals and music. However, I did have some problems with the game, like when the character is talking, you can hear when it abruptly cuts off and starts again. Another issue is how you limit the jump to prevent cheating/shortcuts. But overall, I had a fun time trying out the game; it had a fun idea to it.
Playing it feels like being a genie trapped in a Rubik’s Cube instead of a lamp.
This puzzle is very interesting and I loved spinning the room around like a Rubik's cube. I also enjoyed the art style and the vibes this game goes for; however I really (!) want to stress out that this game seriously (!!) needs optimization improvements. Playing through constant FPS spikes felt very disorienting, especially when trying to move the walls of the room around

Al'ula is a very creative puzzle game in which you must use a magic rubix cube to shift the walls of each room you find yourself in until you can reach the goal. It's a simple premise that allows for many possibilities, and each puzzle feels very satisfying to solve. The game also introduces new elements over time, like corrupted tiles you can't move, forcing you to think about the game's mechanics from a new perspective. Also, not only is the gameplay great, but the presentation is also top-notch. Its world doesn't feel random or like it was created only for the puzzles. There's an actual story here, and I got quite interested in learning more about the lore, which you find snippets of throughout the adventure. All in all, Al'ula is a great little puzzle game, and I totally recommend it if you're looking for something unique!
