The game is not actually free. It has "free worlds" where your game progress resets every couple of weeks/months. If you want to play an actual game where you don't lose progress, it's six credits per day, it can cost upwards of 40 bucks per year.

Technically a "Free" game, but most of the worlds require daily credit payments, which the only way to reload those is to buy them. Don't call it a free game if you have to pay to play it. Aside from that its complicated and has a learning curve. There are better actually free Airline simulators out there. just look for them online.
NOT A FREE GAME, you get 60 Credits at the start to play in a specific world, which are about 4 credits/day, after you run out you have to use REAL MONEY to buy more credits.
GIVE IT A TUTORIAL IM CONFUSED
Warning: Microtransaction infested browser game
AirlineSim is one of thousands of nasty mobile/browser-like apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. There's only a superficial "game" here. This is basically a browser/spreadsheet game infested with a pay-to-play cash shop. The developer deliberately and misleadingly advertised this as free on Steam when it is not. The only notable thing here is that it doesn't seem to be published on mobile app stores, but it is a browser game, so make no mistake, this certainly isn't what I would describe as a "PC game". It's just a veneer wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile/browser app cash shop. The true purpose of this mobile/browser app-in-exile is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library. It's not even a complete game and seems to be headed to development hell, with only tiny patches being produced as the developer kicks the can down the road. Despite not being able to finish the game, the developers apparently had all the time in the world to build a working cash shop microtransaction system and financial transaction back end into the game. That shows the developers primary goal was just to set out to gouge cash from Steam gamers just like mobile devs do with mobile peasants. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now it's just a tiny handful. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
I payed to access a longer world It was only suppossed to take two credits a day instead it's taking more than that
Absolute must play! Airline Sim is the pinnacle of what a business simulation game should and does look like. User's including myself will become addicting to navigating the world of owning and operating an airline, which are many "Avgeeks" dream. This is by far the most accurate Airline Simulation game allowing players to handle real world scenarios such as the constant sway of fuel prices, handling maintenance and finding and operating cost effective routes. Players truly feel like they are the CEO of there airline, as they are able to build there own fleets, add custom logos and build there own empire with multiple hubs. The opportunities are endless in this game as there is always something to learn and improve by. The game may be daunting when you first sit down to play as it took me a couple months to learn the ropes, but the developer made an extremely helpful tutorial which walks you through the startup, step by step. Although the UI is a bit dated, I personally don't mind it as it is accurate in my opinion to the real world, as well as the fact that the developer has promised to modernize the UI and the overall game-play. (the game is around 20 yrs old). I personally think this game is 100% worth your time as it is free to play, or you can pay to play on separate worlds. The community behind it is always there to answer your questions on discord, and overall it is an extremely fun and entertaining game/simulator.
Read below the game isnt free its subscription based. Its also very technical as intersting as it might be not sure how to get the planes to fly assuming i schedueled it wrong. Not something i recommend unless you love proper management systems and dont mind the subs not sure the cost its credits basically. overtechnical fofr a game to be honest with you. and the fact that its credit based puts me off
