About
Eight time periods from across human history collide in a competitive bid to stop the end of the world. Go from fighting monsters to solving a murder, dating sim to escape game. Experience seven vastly different routes in a bid to solve the mystery as to why you've all been brought together.
AGERASIA is a visual novel style, comedic narrative-driven game which centres around eight unique participants, each one hailing from a different point in human history. You will follow Camden Connolly, born and raised in the Modern Era, they find themselves in an unfamiliar situation alongside seven other colourful characters, each from a different Era of human history - going as far back as Prehistory, all the way up to the Distant Future. Finding themselves at the whims of a curious floating blobfish known as Rantan, the eight are tasked with using time travelling lanterns to compete against each other in a bid to restore a supposed reality-bending world event.
Unique route-specific playstyles
Seven routes each with vastly different locales, characters, and plots, complete with differing gameplay all within the confines of a visual novel. You will go from choosing how you approach an RPG-style battle, to identifying the evidence and inconsistencies of a murder, to choosing your dialogue in dating sim segments, and much more.
Comedically-driven narrative
A story that only takes itself seriously when it truly needs to, comedically-driven with characters fuelled by dry wit and sarcasm. A light hearted yet incredibly expansive and engaging story.
Choose your own adventure
Complete the main seven routes in any order you like, make decisions to see unique dialogue and discover over 20 endings on your way to solving the mystery behind why everyone was brought together.
Vast cast of colourful characters
Meet a washed out rockstar from the 80s, an overworked Victorian stagehand, the daughter of a high priestess gladiator, a frog-like imp who co-owns the last bar left on Earth, and... that's just some of the main cast. You'll encounter a plethora of unique and downright exotic characters throughout your travels.
Unravel the truth behind this time travel misadventure as you jump across human history in AGERASIA.

Reviews
Akin to Pieter Lastman's 'Jonah and the Whale' (1621), Rantan Games' 'AGERASIA' is an artistic retelling of man's estrangement and subsequent finding of God at his lowest point. Throughout my journey, I was subject to many a trial that tested all facets of my humanity. From a gothic horror detective period piece which draws obvious inspiration from Robert Lewis Stevenson's 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' (1886) with allegories to Darwinism and Scottish Nationalism, to a futuristic invasion space opera reminiscent of H. G. Wells' 'The War of the Worlds' (1898) dissecting the morality of colonial imperialism, I was forced to reflect on what it is that truly makes us human. I have been disillusioned from the comforts of our fragile, tragic society, and it is a truth I wish for no one else to bear, but alas, I am too weak a man to continue carrying this knowledge alone. “Nobody, however mighty, can do as he likes with the world. None can stop the sun from setting, none reverse the flow of rivers. But any man is able to do as he likes with his own mind.” - Natsume Sōseki, I Am A Cat (1905)
I am a member of staff for this project as a VA and betatester! Even with my bias aside AGERASIA is such a unique spin on a visual novel and the artstyle is absolutly beautiful. It's hard to give a proper description considering every route is different from the last, but I do think anybody can pick up this game and come out of it having enjoyed one, if not all of the routes.
Santa Cactus needs their own full route. Other than that, it's perfect.
