Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

I played an early access beta of this game about a year or so ago and was concerned with it's state at that time. I took a chance on buying the game and found it to be vastly improved since that early demo. This game does a really good job at providing a Goldeneye/Perfect Dark experience. I definitely recommend this game.
awesome game. its amazing to see split screen support in 2026!

I played the game very briefly to test it out. Completed the first single player story mission on Agent difficulty (laughably easy, so I'll be playing on higher difficulties from here on out). The game is fun, but it doesn't quite nail the N64 Goldeneye feel that I think the dev was going for. The elements are there, but if you have experience with Goldeneye, the differences are clear. A big part of the Goldeneye experience for me was the enemy animations. You can tell that an attempt was made to copy that bit, but it doesn't feel right in this game. They're too fast. My gut tells me it's probably the modern framerate and my eyes are telling me that it doesn't match with what I remember. The visuals are also a bit off atmospherically so far, such as lack of distance "fog" that a lot of N64 games utilized to cover up draw distance limitations of the console. One more thing I noticed that I think might be a bug: Aim mode (holding still and manually aiming with the stick or mouse) is insanely sensitive. And to make matters worse, the slider to adjust sensitivity in the options doesn't seem to do anything. No matter how high or low the slider is set, the movement is exactly the same. Overall so far I give the game a B grade, or if you prefer the 10-point scale, around an 8/10. There is still a lot of game left to play, so I may come back and amend my review once I have more playtime under my belt.
fun AF on steam deck
It delivers what it promises. What more needs to be said?
This game is amazing, but where is disarming?
A Love Letter to Agent 64 Bad textures. Silly animations. Questionable graphics. And somehow… I absolutely love it. Thank you for this masterpiece. ❤️ There are so many little details that give this game that authentic GoldenEye / Perfect Dark look and feel. The low-poly models, animations, sound design and overall atmosphere just scream N64 — except now it runs at a glorious high framerate. 😂 It also plays incredibly well with a controller, which makes the whole experience even better. And honestly, huge respect to the developer for building this whole thing basically on their own. That is seriously impressive. 10/10. Would happily play another mission with terrible textures and ridiculous animations.
Very fun game. Highly recommended if you are tired of modern slop.
I have enjoyed it. Multiplayer Is fun. It adds features like CoOp, which is great. But if you are looking for goldeneye, then this game fails. It is close. But omitting features is inexcusable for a game that is supposed to recreate the feeling. And the multiplayer maps just do not cut it. They feel smaller and less impressive than goldeneye. Despite the spawn camping, me and my friends had a blast. Plenty of people joined. But everyone asked and tried to figure out how to crouch and corner peek. But we did have a blast, despite how sorely needed it all is. It has been 29 years. Why can't anyone get these things right. I cannot recommend it until they fix these issues. I will update the review soon. I will list the problems I have below. >No crouch. Basic feature. Please add. >No corner peak. Basic feature. Please add. >Needs better multiplayer maps. I don't think we should depend soley on the community for interesting maps. >I think auto aim should be up to the host of the match for all players. If you don't have it on, you get destroyed. >Enemies can crouch. Just reminds you that you can't crouch and makes you sad. Below are some minor suggestions >The main menu is a joke compared to goldeneye. Maybe have it revolve around his gamesystem and cartridge he plays at the first or something. Or copy the goldeneye document folders. >Instead of omitting core features, add some. Mines already work differently. So why not do something more than the bare minimum? Enemies can melee. Why not give us a weak melee to create space? I know we have the karate chop, but you can't switch fast enough. Yeah it is not in the original, the developers already have proven they don't care about it. If I wanted goldeneye, i can already play it. It has been 29 years. This should be a lot better. CoOp and 8 player versus with bots are the strongest features. But it just is a big let down overall. Hope they add what should be there already.
