PROS: -Super fun! Feels like you're in a World of Warcraft-esque boss battle. -Classes all play very differently and they also look really nice! (Boob jiggle FTW). -Nice variety of locations, enemies and battle mechanics, Makes each battle feel eipc and different. -Character progression. -DLC on the way? CONS: -Multiplayer is a ghost town at the moment. You can take BOTS with you to get that group feeling but perhaps a drop-in/out otion or something to help connecting real people. -Limited to boss battles, so there isn't a lot of exploring or things to see or interact with. -I WANT MOOOORE! Add some dungeons or something to explore with your team!
This is a very fun title and I am looking foward to seeing it develop. If there is anyone who is looking to group with a pyromancer, please message me...I would love to pug this but so far havn't seen anyone in the multiplayer option. As a suggestion to the developer for future content, why not add a quest or two and a dungeon crawl to turn it into an instance rather than a boss fight. Two thumbs up!
Looks like a fun game. It is very glitchy though. Between each spell cast, it goes to the game loading screen. Refunding for now. Maybe it will be better in the future.
Куча багов. Невозможно играть.
I'm starting to get the feeling, reading the reviews, that there must be something wrong with my setup (GTX 1070, Intel i7-3770K), or that everyone is being lenient with the game because VR is fairly young. The game is a great idea, and a lot of fun for anyone who likes to play as a mage. I haven't had much chance to play the other classes aside from the starting mage character, but I had a lot of issues that a simple class change wouldn't really fix. Now, I'll be trying it again with fresh batteries in my controllers, which may fix a couple of these problems, but I somewhat doubt it. I'll update my review with any new results I find, if I find them. If there is no edit, however, then just assume my review is accurate to my experience. First off, the controls and feel. I dislike that there is no smooth locomotion option. I understand teleportation for those who get VR motion sickness, but I believe that any VR game should have both types of motion available. While on the topic of locomotion, teleporting seemed to be very touchy. Sometimes it would let me teleport and other times it wouldn't. This was very problematic when i knew a boss was going to attack in my direction, and I couldn't move. This is the problem that fresh batteries may fix, but my controller still had at least 2/4 bars of battery life left. On top of that, it took a lot of time to load things, and ended up being somewhat jittery. I've been in other high-action VR games, and I very seldomly see any form of jitter. Again, I've got an i7 and a GTX 1070. My next complaint is the arm/hand presence. My arms felt like they were an inch or two higher than they should be. I've seen other games with full arm presence done well, so it's not impossible to do it right. Finally, more of an aesthetic complaint, I've noticed the first boss says the same 3 or 4 lines every 3 or 4 seconds. This is almost annoying more than anything, and it's something that i'm sure would get complained about in the non-vr gaming scene. All in all, this game is not yet worth a price point of $35 CAD. If those issues were fixed, it would still probably be worth 15/20 dollars, due to what seems to be a lack of depth, and based on other reviews (as i didn't get too far in the game out of frustraiton), a lack of content.
Not worth the full price. Not enough content to justify spending that kind of cash. Bought it on sale 80% off (fair at that price). Visually appealing. Introductory video doesn't reflect game play.
Pretty cool MMO style boss battles. I got this game at a big discount, so it was worth it for me.
