After Dark VR

This Game could've been really cool, I bought it a few days after it came out. I played it a couple times but it was very buggy and you can only play if you have enough friends to fill the lobby. The devs completely abandoned this game. I hope they have a good reason for doing so because they released a couple updates and never did another thing. Then I notice the game is free? Feels like a big FU to those who tried to support the devs early on.

У игры есть потенциал. Это уникальная в своём роде игра в vr, нечто похожее на dbd. Правда если это задумывалось как аналог dbd, то есть над чем поработать. Надеюсь разраб не запустил проект. Есть правда нюансик... Эта игра раньше была платной имя её купил. Сейчас это я бы влепил кол и написал что игра говна, но не буду. Онлайн если не отсутствующий, то очень маленький. Налкбсь разработчик допилит игру и игра оживет! Но интерес появится когда онлайн появится, такой вот замкнутый круг...

Found this game late obviously. Went into with some low expectations from others review. I tried to adjust all the settings, but couldnt make it brighter IT IS SOOOOOOOO DARK! i tried adjusting all the settings while IN a bot generated match, no luck. it is just to dark to see your own hand. Am I carrying something? I dont know i cant see. I dont care about bot generated matches or that i couldnt find a game to join. I Just cant see! I also didnt mind the "water rippling effect"in my vision as i moved around as the killer... the game is just to dark to play. very disappointing.

This game is more or less a lighter version of Dead by Daylight for VR. I originally purchased the game for like $5 or $10 over a year ago to live stream as it looked like it had potential. Now it's FREE TO PLAY! One of my favorite aspects of After Dark VR is that it's a 5 player co-op game for VR and my community loves some VR co-op. Having 4 players be the survivors and 1 player being the hunter/killer adds a fun dynamic to the game that you don't get in many VR games. Another thing is the game is both scary and funny at times. The thing we do more than scream is laughing. We are all laughing way more than expected. The game is just fun in it's own way. While the game has so much potential, it is also missing some polish, and the community is dead so don't expect to pick the game up and randomly find lobbies. I also believe the developers have put the project on hold and are looking to expand to Quest at some point once they get their life and ducks in a row. BUT, if you and a few friends get the game (as it is now free), you can plan times to play with one another. That's exactly what we do. It's one of our favorite games to play during the Halloween season for the past couple years and is an absolute joy to play for an hour or two with 5 friends here and there. Either way, don't expect this to be your favorite game, but also expect to have some good times with friends. Like I said, it's one of our go to co-op games for Halloween season. Well worth the storage space on your PC and worth checking out!

cant find any people playing online. empty servers/no servers found. might have to refund game seeing thst no one is online. and can only play with bots. its a great game concept but its bland in terms of not having XP earned to unlock things like skins or what not. no perks or nothing. having things to work towards would of made for a better game.
