About
Night of the Slayers is a first-person asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where Survivors and Hunters face off in the dark.
Survivors search houses in a dark forest, gather equipment, repair vehicles, and try to reach the exit. Hunters move as a two-person team: tracking, ambushing, cutting the power, and hunting down Survivors trying to escape.
Queue alone, squad up with friends, or join open rooms through Quick Play and the Server List.
Choose a 5v2, 6v2, 7v2, or 8v2 match and enter the night.
More Survivors means more chances, but when two Hunters work together, every decision becomes risky. Communicate with your team, share parts, create distractions, and wait for the right moment to escape.
Numbers can be an advantage. Getting separated can be fatal.
As a Survivor, you must search houses, drawers, closets, and the surrounding area to stay alive.
You can find pistols, ammo, rare shotguns, vehicle parts, lockpicks, and items that can distract the Hunters. Some help you stay quiet. Others can mislead the Hunters when used at the right moment.
But be careful. A single sound at the wrong time can give away your position.
You can hide in closets, under beds, inside dumpsters, in car trunks, in dark corners, and under boxes.
Some hiding spots are not just for waiting. You can slowly move under a box, watch for the right moment, and try to stay silent while a Hunter is nearby.
Flashlights, doors, windows, footsteps, and objects in the environment matter for both sides. Darkness can hide you, but one careless move can turn you into prey.
The Survivors’ main objective is to get the escape vehicle running.
Find the battery, tire, fuel, key, and other required parts. Carry them to the vehicle, complete the repairs, and create a chance to escape with your team.
Starting the vehicle does not mean the match is over. Hunters can hold the route, block the road, or chase the escape vehicle.
Hunters have their own starting house, their own vehicle, and their own abilities.
Use axes, throwing axes, special abilities, spotlight beams, and road spikes to disrupt the Survivors’ plan. Check houses, block exit routes, stop the vehicle, and hunt down anyone trying to escape.
Survivors must work together to escape. Hunters control the night together.
Downed Survivors can be dragged by Hunters, locked inside the Hunters’ vehicle, or forced to wait for help from teammates.
If you have a lockpick, you can try to escape on your own. If not, your team will need to come back for you. But rescue attempts are always risky; Hunters rarely hunt alone.
An executed Survivor is not completely out of the match.
You can return as a raccoon, help surviving teammates, create distractions, roll tires, move under boxes, or cause chaos to disrupt the Hunters’ plans.
You are small and vulnerable, but you are still part of the game.
Hunters can go to the transformer and cut power to the town. Houses, roads, and exit points fall into darkness.
A flashlight can save your life in the dark, but its beam can reveal you from far away. Running, opening doors, making noise, or using an item in the wrong place can draw the Hunters’ attention.
In Night of the Slayers, atmosphere is not just visual. Light, sound, and movement are part of survival.
Earn XP after matches, progress through the game, and show your own style.
Customize your Survivors and your raccoon. New maps, new Hunters, new escape routes, cosmetics, and more content will continue to be added during development.
Add Night of the Slayers to your wishlist, follow the game, and get ready for the first night of the hunt.
