Игра не запускается. Потому что не скачивается и не устанавливается. Разработчик об этом знает, но никак не реагирует. Сообщения были отправлены и непосредственно в службу поддержки Steam, и опубликованы в разделе обсуждений. На сегодняшний день воспользоваться продуктом не представляется возможным. Написал обзор после недели ожидания того, как игра вышла в свет. Дольше ждать решения проблемы не хочу. Возможно остальным повезёт больше. Разумеется рекомендовать такой продукт я не могу.

AESCULAP® OrthoPilot®Elite VR Palpation is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, AESCULAP® OrthoPilot®Elite VR Palpation is a software application that replicates in VR the procedure to do a single surgery using a specific product. And let me tell you right away, if I go in for a surgery and the surgeon tells me everything is going to be fine because he learned to the surgery by downloading a software app that was published as a video game he found while he was browsing Steam, I'm running the hell right out of there and I don't care how f$@#'d up my leg is. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop. There's no loop here, no true interactive feedback. It simply is not a game, it cannot be "played" (Unless you think getting graded on how well you shove a needle into someone's knee is "playing", in which case you must have found math tests to be delightful). This has misleadingly been launched in the "Games" section of Steam instead of the "Software" section. This is a common mistake for developers who are new to Steam, or don't understand the difference between games and software which isn't a game. It seems this software published incorrectly as a game is simply lack of experience/knowledge of the correct process. Publishing things which aren't games on Steam in the Games section as games is misleading to gamers and somewhat harmful, because it pollutes the Steam marketplace and takes away visibility and market exposure for genuine game developers who do the right thing and make games for gamers. There are no gameplay loops in this software, no "gameplay", no meaningful game like interaction. It's a software application and as such has no merits as a video game for gamers. Because of this, I cannot recommend this non-game software as a game to gamers.

A training tool for some sort of knee needle thing? Don't know what I was doing, but the idea of stabbing a dude as fast as I can to beat all the other surgeon's high scores was funny enough to me to give this a thumbs up. Have a few drinks with buds and see which one of you can surgery the best. 73/100

[h1] What in the hell is this?[/h1] This is a strange app. For those who don't know, B|Braun is a company that makes exactly what this VR game is about. Get this, I kid you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not, this is a VR game developed by the OrthoPilot company that makes "ALMOST FULLY AUTOMATED" EQUIPMENT FOR ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY. Like, in every image in the screenshots for the steam page, there's this weird device that looks like a white stand, a screen, and a pair of binoculars; YEAH THAT. That's the thing. It's for these types of knee surgeries, and it apparently, AS THE COMPANY B|BRAUN DESCRIBES, does most of the monitoring, step, and tracking by itself. SO WHY THEN does it need a FULL ASS VR GAME, with HIGH END CONTROLS JUST TO USE? This makes no sense. It's a lot of work to make a VR, perhaps it's worth it for such a complicated system, instead of having the hospital you work for pay for training, just download this FREEE***** VR GAME ;)
