About
Adventure Jampilation is an anthology of the short point-and-click adventure games I made throughout the years in various game jams, events where participants try to make a game from scratch in a short amount of time, often following a surprise theme.
The collection includes the following games:
The Halloween Party (2020)
Made in 14 days for the $104 Adventure Game Challenge
Duty First (2020)
Made in 14 days for AdvXJam 2020
Nebraska Smith and the Mask of Minkhamanna (2021)
Made in 14 days for Adventure Jam 2021
Mutiny on the Clodia (2021)
Made in 14 days for the $105 Adventure Game Challenge
The Will of Arthur Flabbington (jam version) (2021)
Made in 14 days for AdvXJam 2021
Where Wolf? (2022)
Made in 14 days for Adventure Jam 2022
No Rest for the Wicked (2023)
Made in 14 days for Adventure Jam 2023
Dinner at the Gugas (2024)
Made in 7 days for PowerJam #1
The Death of Fo-gu (2024)
Made in 14 days for the $108 Adventure Game Challenge
Eulogy for Nonno (2025)
Made in 14 days for the $109 Adventure Game Challenge

In a time where many adventure games forego puzzles it's really fun to play games that actually are based around them. The 10 short games took me around 5h to complete so together they provide more gameplay then some full releases. 3 Games: the prototype of the Will of Arthur Flabbington, No Rest for the Wicked and Dinner at the Gugas have voice acting. I just wish the dev could work full time on games and had time to do another full release.
Some great selections of point-and-click games made for a game jam competition over the years. If I were to replay these games again, I would start with Dinner at the Gugas (2024), The Death of Fo-gu (2024), and then Mutiny on the Clodia (2021).

Free adventure game shorts. What is not to like?
A crappy collection of pixelated 2D minigames
These games aren't very long, given that they were made in only two weeks. One was made in only one week. Despite that though, they are surprisingly clever, funny, and fun. Some of the humor is adult and involves death and even a corpse (and brief toilet humor), but otherwise they remind me of old Lucas Arts adventure games (with a slightly different interface). The only couple I didn't like were those not like old Lucas Arts. If you like point and click adventure games you really can't go wrong with this free collection.
A glorious collection of pixel art 2D minigames! I highly recommend this and other Gugames. What you'll love about these little games: 1) Funny. The humor is occasionally dark, gross, egotistical, or sacrilegious. However, that's what makes it so enjoyable. It is always witty but never crude. 2) Challenging but usually fair. You'll be happy with the effort you put into playing them. Even the earliest jam games are well designed with learnings discussed in the commentary. 3) Atypical storytelling and characters. Each is a clever response to a jam theme and scope. 4) Enjoyable art and animations. With the exception of Nebraska Smith, which has its own style, the art is cozy and consistent in a way that complements the games. The music is also fun and avoids becoming monotonous. 5) High quality overall. Already a Gu-head? It's nice to have these in one place. The DLC is a nice extra and a great way to show appreciation. I enjoyed the commentary for the first two games thus far and look forward to learning about the others.
The Jampilation is, much like its content, a genius idea. It’s the perfect itch‑scratcher when all you have is half an hour to play, laugh, and unwind, and you don’t want to commit to a longer game. Each of the 10 bite‑sized P&C adventures was created in just 14 days for various game jams, so don’t expect conclusive investigations or globetrotting adventures (though you will end up in Egypt and Transylvania after all). Still, most stories are self‑contained and offer a proper ending. What I find brilliant is the ever‑changing cast of characters, themes, situations, and gameplay ideas. There’s truly a bit of everything: raiding tombs, waking up vampires, escaping a hijacked, decrepit Italian ferry to Sardinia (google “Clodia” for a smile). Every game has a huge heart and an even bigger sense of humour. Not every experience hit the mark for me — Where Wolf? made me uncomfortable, and I didn’t particularly enjoy it — but you can absolutely feel the creative genius behind each story and puzzles. Indeed, this compilation features some amazingly well-done puzzles, especially considering the scope of the mini‑adventures, and each one requires a completely different approach to puzzle-solving. A big plus if you’re Italian or speak Italian: there are plenty of puns and references that will give you an extra laugh (should we talk about that Pharaoh’s name?). All in all, it’s a fantastic way to spend a bit of time pointing & clicking without the commitment of a longer game. Perfect for a rainy evening, a sick day, or even when you’re stuck on a decrepit ferry waiting to reach Sardinia at last. P.S. The game is free to play and promises to add more short games in the future, but you can support the developer now by purchasing the special commentary add‑on. That way you too might finally learn what’s so special about that Pharaoh! FOR THIS AND MORE ADVENTURE GAMES My Steam Curator Page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/43938467-TheGamingMom/

Absolultely fantastic little selection of mini games for FREE! Honestly I found myself wishing that several of these were full length games. I didn't love them all, but overall a selection of well written, funny, clever games with original concepts and stories and really great puzzles. My favourites were Where Wolf? and No Rest for the Wicked and Duty First (I'd already played the full length version of the amazing Will of Arthur Flabbington). Gu Games - please please please make MORE full length games - you really are SO brilliant at this genre. PS plays fine on SteamDeck - I had no issues.
