Acolyte: Prologue is the first act in a dynamic narrative detective/puzzle game that gives you your own Acolyte; a digital assistant you can talk to freely without pre-defined dialogue options. Just like a real conversation.

This game is intriguing and reminds me of Black Mirror (TV show) in that it could easily be seen as a reflection on where our society and technology is headed. It has a couple genuinely creepy moments. I asked her to search the web for cat pictures, and the game opened MY web browser with the search term entered. Freaked me out but also sort of cool. It's an interesting Augmented Reality mechanic that fits with the game's main themes. The story is really interesting, no spoilers but all is not as it seems. ;)

Really interesting concept of the game, it incorporate a real life puzzles and still maintain the element of mystery to progress, the prologue end at the best part and it made me want to keep continue further! definitely will trying out the full game later!
Choose to die in the game
It's me again, the dude that knows too much about the history and creation of the Matrix, back at it again with like my 40th review this month, how is that possible? Because all I'm playing is games like this, some tiny little game with not much too it. AND I'M LOVING THIS ♥♥♥♥. I found out a news website that's funny and I'd never heard of before? This game has Faux news letters printed on the "Medium." A real website that makes articles much like the Onion. That's like my new shtick. The music in this game is also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick. My one real gripe is how this game doesn't drop the phone simulation apparatus. Meaning, even when things go "awry" ;) ;) *wink wink nudge nudge* it doesn't ever drop the really disjointed window on the side of the screen. However it's got all the cool little tie ins. It's not creepy pasta images on your phone, it's "Files" you need to "Delete" to "Jailbreak" your "phone," but doing so will "break" your "Employment contract." Bruh it's about 20 minutes long and I have 7.4 hours on record, you best believe I was committing time fraud. Anyway, good game.
The graphics are nice, and I like the game's concept. However, it's very slow-paced and somewhat predictable in terms of its storyline direction. I also don't like how narrow the game's window is; it detracts from the immersion. I doubt that I'll give the full version of the game a go.
