Absolution

Terrifying, with a compelling narrative that leaves you pondering long after its end. I was a bit confused as to whether any of my decisions had impact on the story, possibly warranting a second playthrough.

I don’t really know what to make of this game. Maybe I didn’t understand it. Maybe the story or the message flew right over my head. But I didn't feel like the game “peeled apart my very soul.” Paper Pusher, another free game that deals with ethics and morals, told me far more about myself than this game. I just felt very lost throughout my gameplay here although the character’s storyline, which unravelled as you progressed, was pretty clear and some of the VA when the little girl was speaking to her mum was pretty emotional.
