About
ABOVE is a narrative-based, atmospheric psychological horror game set entirely in broad daylight.
You play as Joyce, a lone park ranger stranded beside her disabled car on a remote desert road in Idaho.
The engine is dead. There is no respite. Only temporary shelter, open ground, and the growing sense that something above you is watching, listening, and waiting.
Explore the surrounding landscape, discover pieces of a scattered diary and unsettling radio exchanges that slowly piece together a deeply personal and tragic story about family, guilt, and sacrifice. This is a compact, story-driven experience designed to be completed in a single sitting. ABOVE favors atmosphere, tension, and emotional impact over traditional horror mechanics, asking not how you fight, but how you endure.

Subtle systemic pressure that escalates with every mistake
Designed to be completed in a single, intense sitting

Solid foundation. Its more of a proof of concept than a full game right now but you can see the potential. The audio and visuals are already there, just needs more depth in the gameplay... Keepup

You can tell people who cared made this. The small details in the sound and lighting add up. Not perfect but it has soul, and thats rarer than polish.
Came back after the checkpoint patch and its way better now. Finished it this time, the running felt smoother too. glad i gave it a second chance, good little game!
I really enjoyed it. I've never really been scared of anything extraterrestrial BEFORE. So it was fun to go through that. The only issue I had was the volume, it was pretty loud and the controls were a bit "sticky", it was hard to change the volume. I would love to see another installment. And thankyou for the achievements. 10/10 on the pear scale.
Was soll ich sagen?
