Great stuff. No complaints.
Grata sorpresa y recomendado.
Super adorable, but the cute little penguin will lull you into a false sense of security. I've torn my hair out over a few of the puzzles already.
Simple but fun puzzle game.
Soo Süß😊 Hatte gute 4 Stunden Spaß, und das für einen so geringen Preis👍
A Way Back, developed by Timur Chanturia and Jenya Kuzmenko and published by Never Give Up Games, is a thoughtful grid-based puzzle game that wraps classic sokoban-inspired mechanics inside a gentle, environmentally themed journey. At first glance, its charming presentation and soft color palette suggest a relaxed, cozy experience, but beneath that inviting exterior lies a carefully constructed logic challenge that steadily grows in complexity. The game follows a small penguin navigating isolated islands covered in plastic waste, attempting to clear paths and ultimately find a route back home. The premise is simple, yet it provides just enough narrative framing to give emotional weight to the puzzles. The gameplay is built around deliberate, tile-by-tile movement across compact levels. Each action matters, and every push of an object must be considered carefully. Like traditional sokoban games, poor planning can quickly lead to dead ends, forcing players to restart or rethink their approach. Early stages introduce the fundamentals gradually, allowing players to internalize movement rules and object interactions without feeling overwhelmed. As the islands expand and layouts become more intricate, the puzzles demand greater foresight and spatial awareness. This steady escalation in difficulty is one of the game’s strongest qualities, as it rewards patience and thoughtful experimentation rather than reflexes. One of the most appealing aspects of A Way Back is its visual presentation. The hand-drawn art style lends the world a warm, storybook charm that contrasts pleasantly with the structured rigidity of the grid-based gameplay. The environments are small but expressive, featuring icy terrain, scattered debris, and colorful details that bring each island to life. The penguin protagonist is animated with subtle personality, adding a layer of charm that keeps the experience from feeling abstract. Rather than presenting puzzles as sterile logic problems, the art design softens the challenge and creates a cohesive, inviting atmosphere. Complementing the visuals is a gentle soundtrack that underscores the contemplative tone of the game. The music enhances the sense of solitude without becoming intrusive, allowing players to focus on problem-solving while maintaining a soothing backdrop. Sound effects are minimal but effective, reinforcing movement and interaction cues without distracting from the overall experience. Together, the art and audio create a calm ambiance that balances the increasingly demanding puzzle layouts. Mechanically, A Way Back excels in clarity. The controls are intuitive, and the grid system ensures that movement feels precise and predictable. There is no ambiguity about how objects behave, which is crucial in a puzzle game that relies on careful planning. This precision fosters a sense of fairness; when a solution fails, it is clearly due to a strategic oversight rather than unclear mechanics. As a result, the satisfaction of completing a challenging level feels earned rather than accidental. While the game does not offer an expansive narrative or complex progression systems, its focused design is part of its strength. The environmental theme of cleaning polluted islands provides light context without overwhelming the core logic experience. There are no unnecessary mechanics layered on top of the puzzle framework. Instead, the game refines a classic formula and presents it with clarity and charm. Its relatively compact scope ensures that it does not overstay its welcome, delivering a cohesive set of challenges that can be enjoyed in short sessions or extended puzzle-solving marathons. Overall, A Way Back stands as a polished and heartfelt entry in the sokoban-inspired puzzle genre. It successfully blends thoughtful level design with a warm artistic presentation, creating an experience that is both mentally engaging and aesthetically comforting. While it does not attempt to reinvent puzzle mechanics, it demonstrates how careful execution and consistent design can elevate a familiar formula. For players who enjoy methodical problem-solving wrapped in a cozy indie aesthetic, A Way Back offers a satisfying and memorable journey. Rating: 8/10

Un juego de puzles simple pero que se vuelve desafiante. Bueno para pasar el rato.
