A Steamboat Willie

The over all idea of a Steamboat Willie is fun and novel, but the game is rather boring and repetitive. Not to mention the game crashes ever minute or so while playing, and the fact that the game runs at around 900 FPS for no reason just tells me the developer was rushing to put Willie out! If the graphics controls get an update, and the bugs crashes stop, maybe I could try again. But till then, NOT Blockhead APPROVED!!! A Steamboat Willie (odd name) is very rough around the edges, with no tutorial, plenty of performance issues (including frequent crashes), and some questionable design choices. That said, its black and white aesthetic perfectly captures the style of 1930s cartoons, and the jazzy soundtrack reinforces that charm. Despite the flaws, I still had fun with its laid back nature and considering it’s free, it’s definitely worth a try.
