considering it's free and you can complete it in around an hour or less, I've got no real complaints. The general idea of the mystery was kind of cool. There is not many deep layers to the story. The twist caught me off guard but gave me a laugh. Had an interesting kind of overall theme to it. Kind of janky in parts and I got stuck in one part from jumping around and had to restart. overall perfectly fine little indie game.
This game is awful. I'm sorry for the dev, but damn... The graphics are pretty bad (which is not an issue, since it's an indie game), but the main issue is with the gameplay. The movement is NOT fluid, so it's a HUGE pain in the a$$ moving around. The history is mid, but the fact that this is a "mistery game" is even worse, because there's no mistery to solve: you can't collect proves/evidences, can't get any useful info from NPC (and to be honest, the interaccions with them are extremely simple), and worse of all in a mistery game, YOU CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO DO. It's a lineal game (like Titanfall or Uncharted), so all you have to do is walk straight (if you don't get stuck with some random ♥♥♥♥, of course). Probably, one of the worse games I've played... Loved the art style and music. The setting’s really cool too, and I was excited for a Prohibition-era mystery, sadly that's not what this is. The gameplay itself was rough. Movement felt clunky and jittery, to the point it actually made me motion sick (and that never happens to me, even with VR). The controls were weird and inconsistent, with awkward interaction prompts. Some parts, like finding items or knowing where to go, were frustrating because things blended into the environment or weren’t clear. The stealth section was pointless and didn’t work well, and the sudden shift into combat with a werewolf just felt out of place for the kind of game it seemed to be at first. The story started strong but got rushed and random, with too much info dumping and no real buildup to big moments. Technical bugs like getting stuck on stuff, disappearing weapons, and weird cutscene glitches didn’t help either. That said, I really liked the visuals, characters, and vibe — just wish the gameplay and story stuck to a slower, mystery-driven experience instead of trying to add stealth and combat where it didn’t fit.

the game is funny and has a real charm to it but holly motion blur idk if its my laptop but every time I turn its like super blurry
Nice short story.
Я A Murmur in the Trees A Murmur in the Trees (2021, разработчик и издатель — Ben Wesorick) — короткое детективное приключение в сеттинге Америки времён сухого закона.
