A Long Road Home

For a game that I payed 80 cents (sale) this was a good bargain. I've passed about 8 hours playing it, it's not too much hard, but I do recommend a guide because some puzzles can be a bit more frustrating. You need to be very attentive to what you find and read! Story was not a must but for the price I wasn't expecting something grand. I do recommend. P.S. - I had to play it in the small window mode, because fullscreen makes the pixels too much big, a pity that there's no middle to window size in this game.......

I named him "Gash" because of the gash on his head in the beginning. It was that or Barfolewmew. I think Gash sounds cooler. Good game. I think it really picked up by the time you get to Melissa's story

Egy ilyen élvezetes játékért, boldogan fizettem. Sok játékkal ellentétben, amelyek egyszerűen csak az aranyosságra mennek ,annak érdekében, hogy elrejtsenek több, zavaró hibákat a játékból. De a A Long Road Home egy nagyon izgalams, titokzatos kalandjáték, nagyon okos fejtőrőkkel és kísérteties tematikus elemekkel megtűzdelt játék. A karakterek ábrázolása és kinézetük renkívül arayosak, a zene segít megteremteni a hangulatot. A rejtvények nagyon eredetiek és kreatívak a nehézségük pedig pont megfelelő de néhol bizonyos kreatív gondolkodást igényel. Remélem több hasonló játékot is láthatunk majd a készítőtöl.

This is sort of a cross between an rpg and an escape room game. It is nice to not have constant battles. The puzzles are a bit hard and I don't see how this can be done without a guide. It have multiple endings depending on your late game choices. I do recommend giving it a try!

Objectively, “A Long Road Home” is a fairly good game: an attempt at an adventure using RPGMaker framework (which works mostly fine, only items manipulation is a bit clumsy), with decent environment design and good music, occasional puzzles and intriguing story with the atmosphere of divinity and mysticism about it. Unfortunately, what totally downed all of this for me was the insinuation throughout the story that brutal tyranny is somehow good, because it brings stability. It never is, and it never does.

A long road to refund. Was worth it to get the "nörttikuutio" emoji to steam chat. 2/10 too hard puzzles couldnt speedrun the game.

Enjoyable little game, perfect if you have a couple of hours to spend. Simple and short but charming :)
