About
A Little Age is a cozy, match-based settlement builder where you start with a single hamlet, reveal the world as your civilization expands, establish new settlements, and grow them into a connected network of towns and cities.
There are no enemies, hostile events, or punishing interruptions to worry about. Each playthrough offers around one to two hours of laid-back interactions. You can pause whenever you want, exit at any time, and resume later.
You only have three resources to worry about: Food, Materials, and Gold. Each settlement has its own production and local economy. Hire delivery guys to move resources between settlements, boost new towns, and support places that have to grow in less-than-ideal conditions.

Each time you play the world is unique. Biomes and resources create new challenges and problems to solve, and not every settlement will have an ideal environment. Some settlements will depend on the trade network to function properly. A Little Age uses a detailed procedural world generation system to create a new world every time.

As your civilization grows, you will choose new advancements and build a great temple to celebrate your new homeland. Your settlements can support each other, pool their resources, and grow into a healthier civilization through collaboration.

Needs more time to bake. The game is fun. It is not $15 of fun. At this point, if you have played the tutorial in the demo, you can win the current game in 60 - 90 minutes and there really isn't much replay value. The art is cute, the gameplay itself is fun, it just needs more. More ages, more buildings, more randomness for replayability, just more. This is another one of those moments where Steam REALLY needs a "Meh" rating. I don't want to mark it negative because the game is good, but I can't justify marking it positive because it just isn't worth the money at this given time.
Too Short for the price! Play the demo and you will get the full experience this game has to offer and for free!

Very fun little game, only released today! Finished the game in about 2.5hrs. For a cute little fun game to pass a couple hours, I can very much recommend! Really excited to see what new content the devs will add to the game in the future! :)
Lots and lots of things do not work. For example, you get all upgrades quickly, and then any time your civilization levels up, you see a window like this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3791802048 There is not much to do after you beat the game once by building the temple in under two hours. (As of now, the game does not save at all, that's why it took me a bit longer: lost all my progress mid-run. ) Not ready for release, lacks content.
Wish there was a "neutral" review option. It's a fun little game. But it is little - my playthrough took just over 2 hours. My main gripe is that there does not appear to be any save or autosave. I got 75% through my first playthrough and needed to take a break. Checking the pause menu revealed no save option, so I assumed autosave was in play. Booting the game up later, I realised my earlier efforts had all gone to waste. A quick google suggests this is a known issue. You should really put a warning in the game so people don't waste their time. A secondary, much more minor gripe, is that I don't know what I need to do to unlock the Researcher achievement. I've maxed everything out, built and upgraded at least one of everything, all the towns are maxed, etc. Apparently I need to unlock all the advancements, but the game doesn't tell me what that actually means. I'm probably being stupid, but a little signposting here would be appreciated. But the main gripe is that, for the money, it's far too short and simplistic. If 2/3 of these get fixed, I'll come back and turn the frown upside down. It's a cute game and engineered well. (Except for the save issue; seems very odd to have released with that.)
No save/load? You just have to play the entire thing in one sitting or loose everything...
i wish i would have read the reviews before purchasing the game... all the comments about the demo being the full game are correct!
Great idea and I really enjoyed what the game currently has, unfortunately it needs a lot more content for the price tag. I was done in around 2.7 hours, with no replay ability what so ever. I tend to price my games at £1 per hour of play time, after the first map I was expecting the second age with new resources and structures, maybe a second map with Iron to find, or a windmill to help with the farms, unfortunately this wasn’t the case the game need more time. ideally given the lack of content It would be nice to see a Roadmap, or at least here what your intentions are moving forward, i'd love to progress through the ages. More content needed for the price tag.
